Same song, ninth verse. We lose, this time at home, to a team which is playing well, well coached, and has one of the best guard tandems in the B12.

At the half, tcu had 11 assists, Texas had 4. Get the drift? Our team's guards are ok, quick, talented, and very young when we have a freshman on the court. In fact, the freshmen guards haven't learned that they are playing B12 college basketball. They dribble down low, lose the ball, get trapped, throw up a prayer multiple times every game. They are playing like they are in high school, against kids not half as talented as them. Sadly for them, and us, this leads to the highest turnover team in the league. With the worst ratio of assists to turnovers.

The growing pains are killing me. My hair, what is left, is falling out at a shockingly fast pace.

I saw tcu coach Jamie Dixon, who has the all time best winning percentage in the Big East, get furious a time or two at his players. I am at the point where I want to see Shaka get a angry at the dumb plays, dumb turnovers, dumb shot selection that repeatedly leads to close loss after close loss.

Allen will be one and gone. His only season here is being wasted. He is playing well enough. Too bad we don't have a point guard. If we did, he would be playing on a team with a winning record. As it is, this team will end up with a losing record.

I feel like Charlie Brown kicking the football Lucy is holding. That stretch in the first half had me thinking they might have turned the corner. It quickly faded.

Maybe he trying to keep from happening what happened to Barnes when he got pissed at his team and lost half his players. We just have to look at this team for what it is. A team without leadership. It will get better next year with a point guard and the transfer getting to play as long as everyone comes back who is supposed too. I saw where Mack was pretty pissed about something at the end of the game. Hopefully nothing boils over.

This is a fair point. and I think next year, especially if a true point is on campus, and if the main players come back, will be much, much different.

But I cannot see a scenario where J. Allen comes back.

Yeah Cary that is basically what I meant. Not expecting Allen. Just hoping the others don't abandon ship. Wish we could throw in a high profile newcomer. I still don't know how Young gets so many minutes.
