Would love to see the breakdown of how she got 49. It was like a 10 point win so it wasn't like she scored all that in a 50 point blow-out.

Duncanville won the McDonald's Texas Invitational in Pasadena Gold Division this afternoon. By 15 points. Don't have any detail.

Chasity broke her defender down with some very nice ball-handling:

Maybe this means I'm old but not a fan of taking a jump shot with heels on the 3-pt line.

Fight between players....We don't need that kind of disruption on our team!

Chasity continues with the video game stats:

The #Just177left refers to the number of points she is away from scoring 3,000 in high school. Insane - the girls' record at my high school was @1,400 and that girl went on to play D1.

Chasity continuing with the unreal stat lines: 34 pts, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 11 steals.

Really looking forward to seeing them play next year.

I think I may stop posting these because they're becoming repetitive (flirting with quadruple doubles):

Congrats to our 2017 signees being named to the McDonald's AA teams.

I still think we could end up adding another member to the 2017 recruiting class. With 14 current scholarship players, and 2 seniors (Lang, Taylor) departing after this season, that leaves one open slot. Obviously, adding a perimeter shooter would really help stretch defenses. Coach A might have to look internationally for that type of player.

I don't like the idea of waiting until Brooke and Ariel depart (2018) to try and replace their 3-point shooting. But at least Chasity comes in with the ability to drain the long ball for next season; we can definitely use that.

Chasity got 40 of the 66 she needed to get to 3K points for her career last night: 40 pts, 6 assists, 13 steals and 2 blocks.

I have not seen Pattterson.....but her lines are outrageous. A "scoring" point guard would seem to be an ideal fit next year. A rotation of McCarty, Sutton, Higgs and Patterson would be an outstanding mix. A 3 guard line-up at times could be a nightmare for most teams. Just to be able to rotate those four would be a luxury. I really want to see Patterson in the playoffs .....as us Dallas folks don't get to see her much. Hope her team makes it Austin.

Forgot it has moved. It will be a TV date for me then. Does Patterson's team have a good chance to make it to SA?

In HS basketball, if you have a player that dominant you always have a chance. However the region North Shore is in will be very very tough. If she does make it, she will have earned it.

I've read posters on other boards describe Rellah as 'cocky'. I've seen a few interviews with her and, based on those, have to say that when the same words are expressed by a high school male, he'd be described as 'confident'. That being said, here's a short video of Rellah when she was presented with her McDAA jersey and it obviously meant a lot to her:

Able to watch the game between cy woods and cy ranch last night. Reese played well vs one time commit Richards. Reese had 15 points and 21 rebounds. I wonder if we are looking at Reese in that 2018 class. Richards praised Atkins in McCarty during her interview after the game.

I've seen Rellah's height listed anywhere from 6'1 to 6'3. The release from Texas when she signed listed her at 6'3. Guess we'll know what is accurate when she plays in the McDonald's AA game and is standing next to other players. From what I've seen, she is capable of shooting beyond the arc; not sure about her accuracy, though.

Why did Richards praise Atkins and McCarty? What was the context of the question during the interview?

They asked her about the McDonald's all American selection. "I remember playing with Brooke and Aerial, and thought how I wanted to be in that game one day. I dreamed about playing with them again one day".

I walked off to talk to Travis Mays after that.
