BTW, Pouncey says he wants to major in sports broadcasting. That should provide us an advantage. I hope. If it didnt then we are pretty dumb.
aggy, as usual, is taking a bunch of jibba jabba about recruiting classes They have 26 commits with an 247 avg of 88.28 Texas has 15 with a pre-Chaisson avg of 88.25
Some of you aren't old enough... But I remember, on this very website (previous server), when Tommie Harris said his visit was CRUNK. And we asked what it meant. It was the first time for everyone to come into contact with the word CRUNK. When I read Ryan's tweet and I thought, "X you are an old, white guy not to know wavy," it reminded of the time I was not old (still white), but on the forefront of crunkness because I went out and used the crap out of CRUNK in 2001. Thank you hornfans.
Johnson has an impressive offer list, which I think means more than stars. I haven't seen his highlights but given his offers this would be a big get. we need DTs, hopefully the real possibility of early playing time will be the deciding factor.
From Pouncey AAS article, thought this quote was great: “I don’t care about what position I play,” Pouncey said. “The only position I prefer is get-me-the-ball.”
As opposed to those they're not really wanting/needing? What an ignorant question. Also, Moore is a junior.
Thank you for the nice compliment! Obviously you either have a lot more time or you are somewhat 'above' others....
I loved Cosmi's highlights .. abbout as good as a high school offensive tackle can play. I loved his nastiness, mobility and ability to block downfield. At 260 pounds he moves like the wishone OL of DKR days. I know he's small by the standards of the game and might need a couple of years to get up to a weight to be a full time starting tackle. But I'd love him on punt and field goal team right away
Interesting list -- A look back at the top 100 recruits from 2007 Several state of Texas and UT names on it Other you will also recognize http://www.washingtonpost.com/sf/sports/wp/2017/01/29/following-the-signs/?tid=sm_tw
The obligatory "Childs should starts"! So sad to see all the tragedies on that list, and especially the one that was a contributor to Mack's downfall, Andre Jones.
"Chaisson remains a possibility, but I'm more confident with Bryant at this point. Chaisson always seemed to be searching for another school, as LSU did everything they could to seal the deal, and that still appears to be the case. Chaisson to Texas still feels likely." from New Orleans paper http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2017/01/the_latest_buzz_on_lsus_nation.html
