I recently brought THIS TYPE OF ANTENNA And I want to put it in my attic. The problem is I have no idea how to mount it. Does anyone have any experience putting this type of Antenna in your attic? If so, how did you mount it and did you need an amplifier?

You will also need a pole. I have the same antenna. I found both the pole and the mount at Lowe's.

You can mount it any way you want. Just hanging it from the rafters with a couple of pieces of light rope would work, as long as it's pointing at the TV transmitters you're trying to receive. That's a good antenna, btw. It's fairly directional, so you'll want it pointing fairly accurately. It also has decent gain, so if you're within perhaps 30 miles of the transmitters you shouldn't need an amplifier, but it depends on whatever obstructions there may be in your case. By all means, try using it without an amp first.

I have the CM 4228 and i used a mast (pole) to stand it up and then used a staple gun to staple one line of the antenna ( a few times to make sure it doesnt move) to a stud in the attic. It has been that way for 3 years without a problem and i get every ota channel at 96+%.

So, if you buy an UHF antenna, what happens to the VHF channels? You can't get those?

Univision in Killeen, TX (KAKW-DT) transmits digitally on channel 13. That's VHF.
