The SCOTUS has said you have no right to not be offended. So, maybe what is un-American is pretending you are above criticism?

Uhhh...the reporter even prefaced the question by saying "I'm not accusing you or anyone on your staff of being anti-semitic" yet Trump assumed he was. The echo chamber that Trump lives in is mind-boggling.

I'm glad someone is finally standing up to those bullies in the media. Just a throat punch and the MSM runs off with their tail tucked crying like the little snowflakes they report to.

Hard to hear but Trump took the question as an insult to his supporters as there has been a lot of nazi symbols and the like written by the left to embarrass Trump.

Do you think that was the correct translation? This Jewish journalist was trying to ask if the Trump Admin was addressing the increase in threats to the jewish community, exemplified by 48 bomb threats to various orgs/buildings.

Trump seems to be thinking out loud and consistently contextualizes the answers into a world view. It's that world view that has most rational liberals concerned, IMHO. This guy is worried about anti-semitism. He could care less where it's coming from but merely is it being stamped out. Trump responds as if he is being accused of anti-semitism and punches back clueless to the fact that anti-semitism is on the rise and needs to be dealt with.

Why would he ask Trump such a question? Trump hates Jews, women, gays, trannies, blacks, and Mexicans. Of course nothing is being done to stop crime or potential crime against those groups. Just watch the news for the quality reporting about his bigotry, and let the hate wash over you like a warm summer day.

    Rush Limbaugh's take --

“You know it is hard to say — you get caught up in the moment. But this was one of the most effective press conferences I have ever seen. The press is going to hate him even more after this. Don’t misunderstand. When I say effective, I’m talking about rallying people who voted for him to stay with him. He made a point — ‘What chaos? You’re reporting chaos. We’re not in chaos. We’re a well-oiled machine. We got one of the smoothest running machines in the history of machines. We got one of the best administrations in the history of administrations.'”

“And he rattled off the achievements they’ve had here that the media is not reporting because they’re so focused on whether or not Trump worked with Russia to screw Hillary out of the presidency. And he was reassuring the people he’s on top of everything. Nothing has changed. Everything he campaigned on, he is doing. All he is doing is fulfilling campaign promises. And of course, the Democrats don’t like him. Of course, the media don’t like him. It isn’t going to stop him.”

Funny I thought Designated Survivor had a Lib bent to it as I watched. Guess if you break any rules of the 100% Rep attack playbook, the other virtue signaling is tossed aside.

I listened to it live, it was AWESOME. Finally, we have a guy who knows who these people are and what kind of a fight we are in. Finally, we have a guy who does not care if the press likes him. Finally, we have a guy who knows he is better off with the voters if the press hates him. It is amazing to me still that nobody else in the GOP could ever figure this out - freaking DONALD TRUMP of all people had to show them how to play the damn game.

He was very calm and cool and even-tempered as he told them all to shove it and it was SWEET. I am not tired of winning yet.

4 weeks in office, 3rd weekend trip to Mar-a-lago in which Trump has played 3.5 rounds of golf and is expected to play another round or 2 this weekend. Total estimated cost? Each trip to Mar-a-lago is estimated to cost tax payers $3M. Yep, after this weekend Trump will have already spent ~$11M on weekend trips. Do you think he might surpass Obama's estimated 8yr total of $97M taxpayer dollars on vacations in year 1?

Just keeping those that are so concerned about POTUS golfing and expensive vacations up to date. ;)

Props to Judicial Watch who claims they will continue to monitor/measure POTUS spend on leisure activities.

You are such a lib SH. First where are you getting your numbers? The lib weasels are always comparing apples to oranges. Just like Obama claiming he deported more back top Mexico than GWB. But the research were counting people that were turned back into Mexico where as under GWB those numbers weren't counted. I really don't know who deported more but by that stat it was overwhelmingly a record deportations that wasn't even close to being right. No telling what is being counted for Trump and for Obama with cost. They count money on one but not the other. We already know the MSM will flat out lie to make their argument work and the sheep with spread that like it's fact.

As far as golf goes it seems Trump does it for meeting as much as he does for pleasure. He puts in long hours even when we're a sleep at the oval office. So what if he takes 4 hours to meet with the Japan PM on the course when he's putting in 12 hours before and after that. Obama I'm guess never worked after dark and some of those hours he worked were counted at the Golf course. The guy was just lazy.

This is stupid. We don't need to curb LEGAL immigration. We sure don't need to cut it in half.

First things first. mandate E-verify and change the terms of birth citizenship. That will solve 80% of the issues.

My original statement was factually correct. I stand by it (except for the typo which I do not stand by)

If this is just a transition window where he feels like he gets more done this way then I'm ok with it, but if he's still jetting off to Mara Lago most weekends after he's been in office a couple of months then I too will have an issue with it.

There's no doubt that some of this Mara Lago stuff is so that that club will have an increased aura after his term(s). He wants as many "presidential moments" at that club as he can manufacture. I can live with a certain bit of it, but this will start to reek after too long.

If he didn't want to change his and his family's lifestyle to comport with being the POTUS, then he shouldn't have run for the office.

I don't agree. 40 million legal Americans are foreign born. Another 40 million Americans are children of immigrants. Combined, that is 1/4 of all Americans. I have a problem when newly arrived Americans are essentially deciding government policy for everyone else via their votes. Simple formula for immigrants: 0-19 years in country = no vote; 20 years in country = half vote; 40 years = full vote. Same for their children except that by the simple fact they are born here they will have a half vote by voting age and a full vote by age 40. Full vote for 2nd generation.

100% agree. I can't imagine immigrating to another country and within years having the gall to criticize and roast their system without any legit or personal references of the history of their country and people.

Kind of like watching John Oliver whine, moan, and try to shame what's wrong with America and tell us what we should stand for when he has no f'n clue about traditional American values, beliefs, and our history.

Says a lot that two of the left's most cherished political entertainment critics were born in South Africa (Trevor Noah) and England (Oliver) and arrived in the U.S. after 2008.
