Have you seen where Nordstrom's Department stores are? Hint: They are in major metro areas. They aren't in Kansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Wyoming, ND, SD, etc. Generally speaking, they aren't in places that heavily voted for Trump.

That map is pretty though. I like Red, White and Blue.

I'll come back to the reality that if this line of products was profitable, Nordstrom would still be carrying it. Like most high end Department stores, they've been economically challenged within recent years.

Incidentally, Nordstrom is still run/controlled by the Nordstrom family. From my personal experience of interacting with multiple family members over the years, they are anything but liberal.

Given TJ Maxx which is the anti-Nordstrom also has reportedly chosen to diminish the Ivanka Trump brand (No more formal Ivanka Trump displays...mixed in with the rest of the garments) can we agree that it's a possibility these companies are making financial decisions?

That list sure seems to incorporate a lot of parts of the country that did indeed vote for Trump.

You also overlook their online presence, to include Rack and HauteLook.

Notice I'm not saying there is no presence in those states but you could add up their store count in 2 dozen Trump states to equal the number in California alone. Temporarily, the Trump states should be happy as Nordstrom Rack is about to receive an influx of Ivanka Trump merchandise from Nordstrom.

The online presence is important but if Nieman-Marcus is an example that may skew more to the liberal elite. NM just announced that they too would stop selling Ivanka Trump merchandise online, keeping it only in select "flagship" stores.

I'll reiterate, the fact that TJ Maxx has instructed all their stores to essentially downgrade the Ivanka Trump line should be a sign that even Nordstrom's response isn't political but rather is financial. Keep in mind, they don't sell the stuff on consignment. They now have inventory that they need to unload (hello Nordstrom Rack) and have simply said we are not buying any new inventory from the Ivanka Trump line.

There may be a more simple reason. I'm anything but a fashion maven but my wife pointed me to this article that shows some pretty ugly merchandise. Maybe this is the reason her stuff isn't selling?

    These shoes made me chuckle:

Twitter is censoring pro-Trump twitter responses to Trump himself
Every Trump tweet generates thousands of "likes" but if you look at the replies, it is almost nothing but negative comments. Here's why --

That damn Trump! Following the law that states he has no conflicts of interest is another good reason to criticize him!

I noticed that as well. I actually do not even bother reading replies to any of Trump's tweets now because they are just pure venom. Some poster even kept posting pictures of Melania nude which somehow kept making it to the top.

Now that is funny. More people are watching Nickelodeon than CNN.

    This is pretty wild
The video is embedded in the link

"Footage has emerged of a giant "click farm" that uses more than 10,000 mobile phones to give product ratings and pages on social media websites phoney "likes".

Companies reportedly pay thousands to get their apps more likes by using services like this massive plant offers.

This covert clip in China shows rows and rows of like-making machines all wired to other devices in a factory.

And there are said to be thousands more phones in the same building all made for the same purpose...."

I'm still very suspicious of the supposed national consensus that was building to support gay marriage. I really believe this type of manipulation was used to bolster the case for supposed public support.
