The Michael Flynn case has taken another turn based on a story by Sara Carter.
    The basics are --
Then General Flynn was a witness for the Plaintiff in a legal action brought against Andrew McCabe
The case originated back in 2014, two years before President Trump met Flynn.
It involved workplace sexual discrimination claims against McCabe
The plaintiff was a decorated anti-terrorism expert
Flynn, as well as some other high ranking officials who personally knew the plaintiff, had written in support of her. And offered testimony on her behalf in the case.
So Flynn's position in the case put him at odds with McCabe

Two years later (2016), McCabe had risen to the level of Deputy Director of the FBI.
And thus Flynn is now under investigation by the same guy that he was going to testify against back in 2014
Oh, and the EEOC case is still pending

If nothing else, there are conflicts of interest that should have risen red flags. But the reality could be worse.

Furthermore, McCabe is facing three separate federal inquiries into his behavior-

"Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a central player in the Russia election case, is the focus of three separate federal administrative inquiries into allegations about his behavior as a senior bureau executive, according to documents and interviews.

The allegations being reviewed range from sexual discrimination to improper political activity, the documents show

The inquiries remain open but so far there have not been any adverse findings against the senior FBI executive, who soared though the ranks the last few years to become deputy director and acting director since James Comey was fired.

FBI officials and McCabe declined comment....."

The 3 inquiries into McCabe are --

    (1) Former special agent Robyn Gritz filed a sexual discrimination and retaliation complaint naming McCabe (and other top FBI officials)

    (2) Gritz also filed a complaint against McCabe with the main federal whistleblower agency in April, alleging Gertz campaigned for his wife’s Virginia state senate race in violation of the Hatch Act. The OSC says that complaint is still being actively investigated.

    (3) The Justice Department IG is investigating allegations from Sen Judiciary Committee Chair Charles Grassley that McCabe may not have properly disclosed campaign payments to his wife on his ethics report and should have recused himself from Hillary Clinton's email case.

McCabe's criminality extends far beyond what's mentioned in the article. This is barely the tip of the iceberg.

McCabe should be dead to rights for violating The Hatch Act by taking part in his wife's donor meeting with Gov. McAuliffe.

At that time he was head of the FBI's WA office. The very office investigating McAuliffe for, of all things, illegal campaign contributions.

His FBI profile was part of the briefing materials sent to McAuliffe which clearly demonstrates his FBI position was used for leverage.

There's also evidence from McAuliffe's office labeling the meeting a candidate recruitment meeting. So the meeting's nature can't be twisted.

And of course the fat donation check came shortly after said meeting.

If the Sessions DOJ has any desire to reform the double standards of criminality in this country, McCabe would be a good scalp to begin with.

Do you liberal Democrats feel the need to go take a shower after every time you log in on your computer and read the filth of your party? It everyday 24/7! There is probably more filth coming out as I type this. It's impossible to keep up with.

Seattlehusker actually defended CNN yesterday following the video disclosure because the producer that admitted the fraudulent coverage didn't cover that particular area. Why 'busker even bothered to give an excuse for CN is beyond me.

I work in IT at my company. Think the Sale Exec knows the details of our IT department? Should our investors assume the Sales Exec is an expert on IT? If you think so, do you mind sharing with me which companies you invest in on the Russian exchange? I'd like to short those companies. Thanks!

I really dont have an opinion on Flynn. I concede i have not invested the time to fully learn the facts there.

However, I do have a strong opinion that McCabe should not be anywhere near this investigation. And it is not a close call. It's disappointing to me personally that no one has stepped in before now to force him to step away from it.

“It’s a business, people are like the media has an ethical phssssss…All the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school you’re just like, that’s adorable. That’s adorable. This is a business,” Bonifield also says.

What difference does it make what Department he works in? He's a news producer. The above quote illustrates that CNN places zero priorities on ethics. In fact, he mocks the idea of journalistic ethics. And his boss backs him to the hilt. That's all you have to know. If you condone that, I'd guess you have zero ethics too. I'd fire your *** if you worked in my IT department.

You're conflating issues, but of course you know that. I've only spoken to this producer's purported knowledge of any of the Russia coverage. Show me where I spoke to any of his "ethics" quote, which is a separate issue.

What does CNN's model show us?
It shows they know their audience well.
    And they are lemmings.

You can't have it both ways. Either you take his comments at face value - CNN is disseminating fake news and doesn't care about journalistic standards - or you discredit him as a producer talking out of his ***, in which case by backing him, CNN discredits itself. Either way, by defending their garbage you have no leg to stand on.

I'll give you a few minutes to rethink this beautiful logical leap.

I'm curious...did the remnants of Pravda (the org you work for) contemplate for a second that O'Keefe may have been violating your trademark? Do you still have a trademark on Pravda?

Some people just like to argue for the sake of arguing. This topic isn't worth further discussion.

Put forth an argument then. That's not an argument or debate. You crafted a flimsy strawman built on nothing I commented on. I told you as much yet you want to continue. Recognizing that it is very late where you are I can only assume that your tiredness is effecting your reasoning skills.

The #1 issue concerning the voters in this last election was the economy. Out of 469 total minute the economy got 5 min of that total. Unbelievable!

From my quick and dirty viewing of the video this was my paraphrasing of it: "There's smoke with the Trump/Russia thing. They've not found anything yet. They may never find anything. We don't know. What we know is that it's good for ratings and they're pushing it." It's the Benghazi of the left at least inasmuch as we're talking about ratings. My personal opinion is that once Mueller's investigation is over it will be significant. But, I've been wrong before. I thought Clint Black was going to be bigger than Garth Brooks. I thought Brandon Daniels and John Blake were going to bring the wishbone back from the grave like the Night's King from Game of Thrones. I thought the Iraq war was about WMD and that it was a good idea.

With how easy things are leaked about President Trump, if there was a there there, we would all know already. Hell, they even leaked about the two scoops of ice cream.

They said the same thing about Big foot

Benghazi was about a video...... remember?

    Good timing

Yesterday, I suggested CNN knows its audience well and manages it coverage based on that knowledge

Well, less than 24 hours later, here comes yet another undercover video where CNN is caught admitting they know their audience is a bunch of idiots

Circa News is quickly carving out a niche for themselves and becoming one of the most reliable sources of facts-based information out there.

What's the niche? Well investigated stories, careful screening and verification of info from unnamed sources, and a heavy reliance on factual support and named sources.

The other unique, critical virtue that sets them apart is they don't express an opinion in articles or urge the reader to make a conclusion.

They simply lay out the subject, flood it with facts, and allow the readers to judge.

Of course they also include unnamed sources due to the highly sensitive subjects.

Though the heavy use of facts coupled with named sources in articles seems to provide more credibility capital than slanted MSM when citing unnamed sources.

I've seen at least five major stories like this McCabe one and yet to see anyone refute their accuracy or make accusations of partisan motivations.

They cover gov figures on both sides and present things they say or events surrounding them without opinionated commentary judging the topic.

It's about time someone just reported significant news in a facts-based model.

I think "slanted" is the wrong word to use when describing the MSM.

After all that's happened lately with obvious fake news, it seems that President Trump was right when he said the MSM is the enemy of the people. If they aren't going to be honest and truthful, then why do they have press credentials? Their intentions are very harmful to America.

I agree that was putting it mildly. How about calling it 'weaponized' MSM? :beertoast:

Um...is it any surprise a conservative like yourself would be a fan? I'd argue that Circa.com is more like the USA Today for the internet. Their shoestring budget means their articles are extremely brief and void of any details that aren't available elsewhere.

Thehill.com is much better in offering some aggregation/depth while ensuring they capture the viewpoints on all sides of the aisle, IMHO.

    (a) the CNN guy in the video was admitting the CNN audience is dumb
    (b) Trump voters dont watch CNN. Indeed, based on CNN's current ratings trend, not many of either side are

For the record. CNN has it's most watched 2nd q ever for the total day. Of course, that may be due to them playing to their audience. I'm sure their daily watch of Trump stomping on his dick is helping their ratings too.

    From the article.
I used to watch CNN before they tried to out-MSNBC MSNBC in their bid for the liberal crowd. The incessant panel debates with campaign surrogates who's sole job was to trumpet whatever talking point they were handed was the final straw for me.
