Standard is already set. No charges despite mountains of indisputable evidence crimes were committed in both the IRS and HRC email scandal.

At the VERY VERY least it's fact both subjects destroyed a massive amount of government records (crime), which in turn impeded an ongoing investigation (crime).

If we're not gonna charge them for that at the very minimum, then what's to stop future destruction of evidence as soon as any official learns of their investigation? I would without question. Apparently destroy, deny, and play dumb is a winning defense. :puke:

If DT truly wants to drain the swamp he must have DOJ charge someone prominent for their crimes against our society and set an example going forward.

Letting HRC slide was a HUGE mistake as I said it would be right after he won. We had a thread here discussing this exact subject.

People argued letting her slide would help mend the divided country. But DT supporters knew the hate and divide was never going to subside in the left no matter what.

It's the same mistake Reps have made forever. Naively believing kindness and concessions will earn capital with the left. It never has and never will.

Imagine now if DT and DOJ had gone full boar into investigating the Clinton Foundation. It would've greatly diminished the validity of Dem's collusion claims.

Collusion accusations would've correctly been viewed as Dem retaliation, especially if there was the appearance of trying to offset an ongoing, publicized investigation of HRC.

Instead Clinton (who's actually guilty) got a free pass from current major investigations and DT takes all the heat without a counterweight.

Lock her up! There's a reason DT supporters still demand this after the election. It's huge in destroying the double-standard, puts other corrupt leaders on notice, and buffers DT by keeping an equally big bullseye in the political civil war. Big mistake letting her slide.

There must be something to the latest Russia - Trump campaign collusion because the conservative media and their surrogates (including some on this board) are spending a lot of energy to deflect and distract to **** nobody cares about anymore.

I didn't previously think anything occurred but the Donald Jr. evolving story over the weekend gives me pause. Still going with the useful idiot theory.

New polling shows only 4% of Dems think Hills could beat Trump in 2020
(333 voters in the Midwest region)

50% say nobody - wow. This tells me (if any dang poll can be trusted anymore) that they KNOW this whole Russian-collusion thing is BS *and* that it's not going to stick.

Just fyi, Tom Fitton's Judicial Watch updates are a good watch on Youtube. Looks like he updates their investigations and discusses new info every Friday.

    This was last Friday...

John Podesta testified behind closed doors yesterday
Not a word of it leaked
    Funny how that works

I thought the "libs" refused to testify? Susan Rice also testified last week behind closed doors.

Assuming Manafort eventually testifies, it's good that both sides of the political aisle are cooperating.

It's just damn disheartening how Dems continue to get away with this stuff.

Just want to point out that based on how I read the poll, 50% say nobody from the list can beat him. :)

A friend of mine is the one pushing to get those released. Just started a change.org petition to confirm that there is, in fact, public interest.

Well well well, look who's hand got caught in the cookie jar.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has evidence and confirming testimony Comey was already writing and circulating a draft of his decision to exhonerate HRC before interviewing the key witnesses and HRC herself.

Senior FBI officials confirmed Comey sent them a draft of the conclusion months earlier before interviewing HRC and the main players involved. Transcript at link below...

CONFIRMED: Comey Decided He Wasn't Going to Refer Hillary For Prosecution Long Before FBI Investigation Was Over

The transcripts were revealed in a letter sent to current FBI Director Christopher Wray, in which lawmakers are demanding an explanation and more documents surrounding the case.

"According to the unredacted portions of the transcripts, it appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents finished their work. Mr. Comey even circulated an early draft statement to select members of senior FBI leadership. The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts," the letter, signed by Chairman Chuck Grassley and Committee member Lindsey Graham states. "Conclusion first, fact-gathering second—that’s no way to run an investigation. The FBI should be held to a higher standard than that, especially in a matter of such great public interest and controversy."

"It is unclear whether the FBI agents actually investigating the case were aware that Mr. Comey had already decided on the investigation’s outcome while their work was ongoing. However, it appears that the answer to that question may be underneath some of the extensive redactions that the Department made to the transcripts," the letter continues.

According to the letter and an ongoing investigation into the matter, Comey started drafting a statement exonerating Clinton in April or May of 2016. At this point, he had not interviewed Clinton herself or her closest aides. This included Bryan Pagliano, who set up the personal server where Clinton hosted and shared top secret information, and Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, who was granted immunity. On July 5, 2016, Comey made his public statement that the FBI would not be referring Clinton to the Department of Justice for prosecution.

I sure hope something gets done if it's proven she guilty (which she is). Because we can't have a society that there are people above the law. If that's the case then it will spread like a wild fire of corruption............. The fire has already started, but we have to put it out and show that corruption does have consequences.
