Aggies should sit tight. Looks like a bad time to be hiring a coach. But then again when you are delusional it can get in the way of rational thinking.

Tennessee is closing in a deal with Purdue coach Jeff Brohm.
    Over Chad Morris of SMU

    Jeff Brohm or Chad Morris

2017 Bentley or Dodge pickup damaged in the flood

I hope Brohm turns them down. He should have been their first and only call. I really hope that after this is over, we find out that Chuckie NeinASS was consulting Currie on the hire. This cluster has his fingerprints all over it.

Latest word is that Brohm to stay at Purdue
And that Chad Morris turned down the job

Tenn is having a rough go of things lately
They are now looking at NC St's Dave Doeren.

The FSU 247 site is now conceding Jimbo will take the aggy job
Perhaps as soon as tomorrow, skipping the last game.

And if someone had posted prior to the season this was a distinct possibility they would have been laughed off the board.

    Joe,

Some friends in Tennessee have advised that the Chancellor sent Currie to cut a deal with Brohm. The two reached an agreement, which Currie took back to the Chancellor, who never understood that in addition to salary, bonus, house financing, cars, etc, Tennessee would also fund Brohm's buyout. The Chancellor said "no", to tell Brohm no buyout, to which Brohm said "good luck" and walked.

This is what happens when educrats with zero business experience get involved with athletics.

What’s amazing is that jackass kid pushing that guy over and over in the back.
What the fan said wasn’t that bad and Joe **** the Ragman would have pushed me once as I walked away.
So that gets you kicked out of a public place?
Geez those FSU fans drive me nuts.

If he takes the Aggie job over FSU, he is dumber than he looks. It is culturally very hard to win there.

He was able to recruit a national champion at FSU, so I really would get nervous if he chose A&M. It'd be their most significant hire in quite some time....was Jackie Sherrill considered a great hire at the time?

I sure hope so. He can dock his pirate ship on the river across from the stadium; a stadium named for a native Texan
