I really hope that is accurate. But, who is Drew King?

Glad that nothing is broken. I wouldn't be surprised if she is rested for the Texas Tech game and comes back for OSU, if possible.

All things considered, that would be the best we could hope for.

Still, I feel for her as she was really getting into a flow. Even last night early against KSU, she had two short jumpers from each side of the basket right in the soft spot of their zone defense. She was shooting with a lot of confidence.

This absolutely makes my day. I went into depression in the second half and couldn’t watch the rest of the game. It sure looked like a broken bone or ligament or tendon somewhere in there. For the Ladies to be the best they can be, she has to play. The good part is Holmes will get more time plus there is time for AAG to completely heal. NOW I can go home and watch the rest of yesterday’s game!

Great news, glad the injury is not more serious than it is. Still feel bad for her though, she was having a great game and has been playing so well lately.

Good thing it's not her shooting hand. Ideally, she will miss no more than one or two games and be back for the Baylor game, if not the OSU game this Sat.

on a semi-related note, BU's Natalie Chou has been out since playing in the OSU game on 01/31/18 with a wrist injury. She has missed three games so far. Wonder if we will see either of Audrey-Ann or Chou this coming Monday in the Texas-BU rematch? Sounds like the injuries are different with Chou's more serious than Audrey-Ann's bone contusion.

We will need Audrey-Ann ready for the NCAAs more than for the rest of the regular season. Get well soon, Audrey-Ann!

I know we spent a lot of time wondering when/how Joyner could make it back into the lineup. This is exactly how. If she & the team play well, I would expect it to stay that way

Consistency in games and practice will be the key in Joyner remaining in the starting lineup. If she doesn't display that consistency in both areas, I would expect Audrey-Ann to return to the starting lineup once healthy.

This might be how, but I hope we can all agree that this wasn’t the way we wanted it to happen.

Oh my, Audrey-Ann out indefinitely after having “minor wrist surgery”.

Hoping for a full recovery for her. She may or may not return this season but she has a bright future ahead of her in basketball. :hookem2:

I expect she will be helping out as much as possible from the bench.

What is the source of her surgery news?

Dang it! I had a feeling her not being on the bench for last night's game was a bad sign. :(

In the post-game press conference, Coach A was asked why Audrey-Ann was not on the bench. Coach simply said that she had a doctor's appointment which ran late, and she is day-to-day. Guessing she didn't want to really say what was going on at that time.

I'm optimistic that the Tweet didn't say she would miss the rest of the season. Hopefully she'll recover quickly and play again this season. It's unfortunate because she was really playing well.

I'm guessing the surgery was today; have to believe she won't make the trip to Stillwater on Friday, and most likely out for the Monday game at home against Baylor.

Very sad news. We were better when she was in the lineup.

Absolutely. It gave Joyner time to start to get back in rhythm as well. Now, we need Jordan, Mide and Rellah to step up even more. Jordan is doing pretty good, just a bit undersized to go up against BU's Brown and Cox or the Tech posts.

We needed A-A badly for the upcoming two games. Lousy luck. Others will have to step up. I believe they will.
