Junior PF Bride Kennedy-Hopoate (#1 Juco in 2017 class) - Transferring from Iowa State. Had 10 starts in 21 games played in one season with the Cyclones. Graduate G Najah Queenland - Grad transfer from University of the Pacific to Ohio State. Will be eligible to play in 2018-2019.
She wasn't much of a factor with them. Just not Big 12 caliber. But there's several on their team that's not.

Wow, considering that they have been unsuccessful for several years perhaps they should be looking at the coach instead of the players. And, as for the coach, good luck getting any new recruits.
My dream scenario would be Notre Dame's Brianna Turner deciding she wanted to come home for her final season of eligibility, and be a grad transfer to Texas.

One can only wonder what this is about. A&M would seem to be the very definition of a P5 school on the rise, with a shot at the N.C. I'm tempted to speculate, but will refrain.
I don't know that I would call them a program on the rise with a chance to win the NC. They have pretty much peaked as far as how far they go in the NCAAs. But she is an undersized PF though she does have an outstanding rebounding average. She's just an average shooter. I don't know P5 title contender she could go that should would be a starter at or least a significant contributor. A&M does seem to be the best fit for her.
She is from Atlanta - maybe she's ready to leave College Station, which is still sort of a rural area, despite its proximity to Houston. After this year's great tournament, I'd say there are lots of P5 schools (including A&M) that have a shot at the NC!
Azura Stevens is leaving UConn early and declaring for the WNBA draft. Technically this is not a transfer but an early exit for a player who had a remaining year of eligibility.
I can appreciate the effort Anriel gives on the court; that's what rebounding is all about. For us, we were a very good rebounding team this past season. So, I'd say we have more important needs than a player whose biggest strength is rebounding. Of course, I'm assuming we will continue being a good rebounding team next season based on our size inside; our "new" back court players will have to rebound as well as those players they are replacing.
This isn't a transfer, but it has the same effect: It's confirmed that Azura Stevens is leaving UConn to enter the WNBA draft. Big loss.
I agree. I think this will be the most vulnerable UCONN has been in years. They’ll obviously still be very good but they won’t be beating any of the other top teams in the country before the game is even played. UConn’s talent is still great they just don’t have that transcended talent which will make for more competitive games against them for years to come. And it certainly helps us when we play them next year.

Seems like we've attrition every offseason, except one year ago (right?). So, the odds are to expect at least one, especially as that is the way it is for most teams out there. And, we've also done great with incoming transfers. Fingers crossed that we get another impact player!
I've learned not to put too much into most player's twitter feeds, unless the statements are very specific and unequivocal. I think some of her more recent tweets have been praising Coach Tina, which might be seen as a positive. That doesn't necessarily reflect her intentions one way or the other, just as her prior tweets don't either. I recall a season or perhaps two ago when folks were trying to read the same kind of messages into some of Ariel's twitter comments, and it turned out they were way off base in their assessment. Often times players are referring to things or situations wholly unrelated to basketball, so cryptic comments should be taken with a grain of salt.
