Yeah, but targeting poor black people? Going on record to say that the cause of this is TDS.

I do not know if they have identified the third victim yet or not.

Total Dissolved Solids? They are bad in your water in high concentrations but not explosive.

Ugh. Somebody is sending explosives through the mail, but if I put a couple of beers or a bottle of wine in the mail, I'll lose my mailing privilege.

The first two victims are connected. The first victim's stepfather and the second victims grandmother are co-founders of the Austin Area Urban League.

I don't know that I'd qualify the victims as "poor black people". The two connected relatives of the victims are relatively prominent, well educated and affluent local figures, particularly within the African-American community. There are connections with The University of Texas as well. Very alarming.

There may be less homes in these areas that have surveillance systems? May be a factor in these areas being targeted.

As I understand it, the packages weren't routed through formal delivery systems. Seems the packages were maybe delivered by the perp or perps.

Anybody else get that ludicrous involuntary text alert that was sent out 3 hours after the explosion happened, sent out to random people all over the city and not just people in the same neighboorhood or zip code, and just told everyone to stay indoors until further notice (which never came) without providing any other useful info - not even which area of the city they were actually talking about?

If only we had a color-coded alert system to warn everyone of the risk level.

One less bomb. Turns out the police chief of San Antonio was talking out of his butt about something happening in Schertz, Texas he knew nothing about to get attention. He has historically been an attention seeker.

The mad bomber has blown himself in his car up in Round Rock. Good riddance, and great job by the Austin police and all who helped them to catch him so quickly.
However, I'm not sure he acted alone. Bomb makers are known for their signature bombs. In this case, the bomber/group, was all over the place. First, placing packages on porches.
Then, trip wires. Finally, putting bombs in Fed Ex packages. This behavior is not consistent with most bomb makers.
It will be interesting to find out more about him, and why he chose to do these terrible crimes.
I just hope and pray he was a lone wolf.

And good riddance to him. Count me happy we won't spend tax money to house and feed the worthless sack of **** for the rest of his life.

I don't. I think it may have been an ex-military (explosives training) PTSD sufferer. Or just an ex-military wack-job.
