Let's wait until we see more. This is according to two unnamed sources. There are also unconfirmed rumors this is an old story being recycled and that it was another Michael Cohen. On top of that liberal Buzzfeed is saying that his passport never mentions Prague, although there are ways to beat that(forgery, second passport) https://www.buzzfeed.com/anthonycor...ssport-heres?utm_term=.okKmnROKBA#.amPZYlEp40

I've been to the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, and Liechtenstein. However, my passport has no record of any of that. The reason why is that those countries are within the Schengen Area, meaning you can cross borders within those countries without showing a passport.

For example, Michael Cohen could have flown to Berlin or Munich, where his passport would have been stamped and then taken a train or driven to Prague. I'd look to see if his passport showed him entering a Schengen country during that time and then check for bank records to see if he made any purchases in the Czech Republic or acquired Czech Koruna (Czech currency).

Possibly a moot point. His passport does not show stamps indicating travel to any part of Europe in August/September 2016. That doesn't rule out a second passport, though. However, let's be honest here. More than likely this is just more fake news.

I'm curious to how it was proven he was in L.A. at the time.

If Cohen says so it must be true, unless he's proven to not be truthful in prior public statements...

As an aside, Cohen appears to have committed bank fraud using his taxi cab business. This dude is a piece of work. Doing Trump's dirty work is a tough job.

This story is from two years ago, but it's about Trump's first "fixer," Roy Cohn. He's dead now, but he was a really rough dude, and it gives an idea of what Trump likely expects of "fixers" like Cohen. Unlike Cohen, Cohn was an accomplished attorney and good at what he did. However, he was sleazy as hell and could break some serious balls.

Fantastic. Now all you have to do is prove this actually happen (since this apparently is still only conjecture), then prove that he was there meeting with Russians, and then show how meeting with Russians is "collusion," and then explain how whatever the "collusion" was violated the law, then prove that Trump knew it, lied about it, and broke the law. If you can do all that, you have my blessings to give him the boot.

I don't have to prove anything. Mueller is the special prosecutor. If evidence exists I trust him to locate it.

This is consequential because if true, that Mueller does have evidence of Cohen in Prague, the "deep state" or "HRC cronie" screams about the dossier start to crumble. The dossier is corroberated again, despite Trump camp claims.

IF there was "collusion" it will center around the DNC hack and Wikileaks, IMHO. We know the Trump campaign had advance notice of the hacked email. Papadopolous already plead to that. Stone was in direct contact with Assange and Guccifer 2.0. That's a fact. How both parties interacted is for Mueller to discover.

Prof Turley has a short piece out today on the notable DOJ lack af a criminal referral for McCabe post Inspector General Report. "The real issue is not as much the crying need to indict McCabe as it is the lack of consistency of how this law is being applied." Part of what I keep calling the Double-Standard.

As noted earlier, Flynn was indicted for criminal false statements on less. He now faces a prison stint after pleading guilty to a single false statement about a meeting with Russian diplomats during the Trump presidential transition period. While Flynn did not deny the meeting, which was entirely legal, he denied discussing sanctions with the Russians. Mueller charged him with lying or misleading federal investigators under 18 USC §1001. He did so even though investigators working under former FBI Director James Comey reportedly had concluded that Flynn did not intend to lie and should not be charged criminally for the omission.

McCabe has used the Flynn defense that he was “confused and distracted” but unlike Flynn it appears (thus far) to have worked.

The issue is not as much the crying need to indict McCabe as it is the lack of consistency of how this law is being applied.

Cohen is in court today to discuss protection of information that was seized in the raid. The judge force Cohen to reveal who the 3rd client was. We knew about Trump. The second was RNC Deputy Finance Chair Elliot Broidy who Cohen helped secure a $1.6M payment to a former Playboy model whom Broidy allegedly impregnated. The 3rd client? Sean Hannity.

Just a side note, don't hire a lawyer who has a taxi cab side business.

That depends on the type of legal work that is necessary, doesn't it? What little we know about Cohen, most of his work seems to be on handling seedy dealings and locking down settlement agreements. At least, those are his public dealings which by most accounts he hasn't been real great at keeping these things private, which I'm sure was priority #1 for these individuals.

Cohen's office is in 30 Rock, which can't be cheap digs for his firm. If "fixing" these transactions is really his legal specialty, that part of his business will most assuredly evaporate now.

Thinking about this a little more...now knowing Hannity's relationship with Cohen puts his tirades in context. Clearly Hannity can't see the swamp because he is part of the swamp. Unless Hannity previously opened up about this relationship with Cohen on his program (I don't watch him), one could easily argue that he lacks any journalistic integrity.

Trump's legal attempts to block FBI access to the Cohen seized material has been blocked by a Manhattan District Court judge.

The judge did order the government to create a database of what was taken and share the list with Cohen's attorneys.

It should be noted that the government is using a "taint team", a separate group of legal staff from those investigating Cohen to review the content before the investigating team gets access.

The Feds argued that Cohen is primarily being investigated for his business dealings.

In all fairness, Hannity didn't have journalistic integrity before this either.

Not a Hannity fan (too repetitive/interrupts too much) but you probably pulled multiple muscles jumping to that conclusion without any facts about the Hannity-Cohen relationship.

Hannity is a commentator, not a journalist. It's hilarious that people want to hold him to journalistic standards, but have no issue discounting the rantings of MSNBC or CNN panelists, saying "well they're not really journalists, anyway."

And also, it's hilarious that all of a sudden Cohen's word is gold that Hannity was a client in the truest sense of the word. Hannity claims that he got some legal advice and insight from him a few times, but that he never retained Cohen.

No one seriously believed Hannity hasn't been getting Trump talking points for years now, so I'm not really sure how any of this is a game changer in any sense.

BTW since we don't have a Stormy Daniels thread (that I know of, thank goodness), this seems like a good place to point out that when required to describe someone who threatened her, the porn star basically described a ruggedly handsome, model-esque white man who may or may not be Tom Brady.
