talks mostly about the return of the true centers in the league but it does have many applications to what is going on in the college game. After all, the WBNA bigs come from the college ranks, except for those that come from overseas.

Looks like Griner grew an inch from 6-8 to 6-9 while Candace Parker continues to shrink. I thought she was 6-8 but she is listed at 6-4. I know she was listed as smaller than she was in college so as to avoid being pigeonholed into playing only in the post.

Wings assistant coach Taj McWilliams-Franklin, on coaching the three posts on the Dallas roster: 6-8 Liz Cambage, 6-6 Azura Stevens and 6-5 center Breanna Lewis :

I always thought Candace was 6’ 5” but her ‘assertive’ playing style allowed her to really dominate collegiate posts that were taller/bigger. Cambage has been a real difference maker for the Wings but, with Glory going out with the injury in this year’s compressed season, Dallas is going to have to really fight to meet preseason expectations.

At all levels of basketball it's amazing to me how few post players have a working knowledge of how to execute a variety of post moves.
