No. Summer Camp sounds like someplace to go and goof off while your parents go someplace to fool around. Fall Camp sounds more serious. Leave it.
Finally it's on and we're getting some feedback... sounds like Brennan Eagles could turn out to be one of the biggest pleasant surprises from Summer Cramps!
The Brainiacs have an update after 3 practices Link Sounds like good news from the D-Line. LB depth is still concerning but with a mix of McCulloch, Roach, and Ossai off the bench we should be ok. Especially if Dele and Overshown can contribute. I am loving the new red shirt rule. Get those guys some PT against Maryland or Tulsa and then keep them in reserve if guys go down. All in all, the D looks like it should be good this year. Likely better in the secondary than last year but not as good against the run, and especially vulnerable to injury. Offense is still a question mark. No RB has separated himself yet - not great but probably better than last year. O-line should be better but extremely thin. WR - stacked. TE should be a big improvement. O-line and RB development in the next three weeks will be critical. After that it is up to Herman and Co. to get the best out of this team each week. There is little room for error if we want to improve on 7 wins. Especially with the difficulty of our early schedule.

Maybe, but as Longhorn fans we should know by now you don't count your chickens until they've hatched, grown up and are in the frying pan.
What's wrong with Preseason? Or two-a-days? POW Camp sounds more serious, and is also inaccurate. What about that?
My fellow American...….I ended the war and got our boys home from POW Camp. No reason to reopen old wounds. I am good with Preseason or 2-a-days. Fall camp works as well.
The return of Sr. TE Andrew Beck should not be overlooked. The kid is a warrior on the field and a leader. He will be an anchor on that OL.
I must confess I don't really remember much about Beck from the 2016 season. No doubt a strong TE is a great asset for an offensive line and he does seem to be a leader. Anyone with good TE knowledge have anything to add on Beck? I have my doubts about our RT position this season. Having a seasoned TE line up on the right can certainly help cover up some weaknesses there. I am not expecting a ton of catches from him but I hope Beck helps shore up the front line.
He is big and very strong. Believe he only had 6-8 catches in 2016 IIRC, but those catches kept drives alive and I think he had 1 TD where the D was not looking for him. His primary strength is blocking. Anyone else add to that?
Me too. Last projection was Soph. Kerstettler (or however you spell his name). I KNOW he was a true frosh last season but the kid was absolutely lost and a holding machine. Seriously hope the growing pains are over by first kick and he can be counted on this fall.
Couldn't decide where to put this. Some pretty good takes by the 247 guys on risers and fallers in camp... Texas Longhorns Football: Camp expectations players Tom Herman Jordan Pouncey Patrick Hudson Spoiler/tease: Hudson falling, Anderson not that impressive?, Stern's starting?
