One would think the media would be cautious about favoring the Horns in any football contest, given the last 6 years or so anyway.
I am guessing that it is following along the old maxim that home-field is supposed to be worth three points. And, with the starting QB injured, book likely figured all else is equal... Broader question is what the numbers look like come Friday. There have been some interesting moves at both the pro and collegiate level on some of the games. Have not heard discussions about this one on VSIN yet, but probably will come Thursday. Yes, I spend a lot of my time listening to VSIN when on the road in the vehicle with satellite...probably too much time.
To answer the question...yes, it IS legal. One line for recreational and the other for medical. Allegedly...so I have heard...
Keaontay Ingram's knee injury will probably keep him out, although the team is calling it "questionable." Brandon Jones (high ankle sprain) is probable this week. Zach Shackelford is out. So, same OL as Tulsa.
Sprained foot Some reports say he is 'questionable' for USC but I dont think you go from a boot midweek to starting Saturday
But is that covered in The Binder? I mean, it IS common sense, but common sense tends to be lacking where MensaBoy is concerned...
It is a condition covered in Section 32.B.12)c)IIX which says to skip ahead to Section 45.C.11)b)III... Which says to flip a coin and tails is Zone read, and head is bubble screen.
True story. I started dating a USC girl for a month or so back in the day. She then entered rehab and stopped drinking. We stopped going out.
I'm not sure this game proves anything. Both teams are trending downward. We can win or lose by three points. Neither will surprise me. B12 play is where the **** hits the fan. If our offense struggles to score over 24 points it's going to be a long season. Unless our defense becomes the best in the nation. Even Strong figured out he was going to need to score and brought in Gilbert. Frankly, at this moment, I would like to see where Shane and the offense would be in the third year of Gilbert's system. Orlando better get this defense tightened up.
They pointed out on the post game that Shane Buescele is the most veteran returning starter in the Big XII and that he is second in the league in career passing yards behind Will Greir of WV. What did Shane ever do to deserve to have that taken away from him. If Sam was lighting it up I could see it, but he's not. I don't have any confidence that Sam's going to beat anybody on the schedule especially USC. It just pisses me off thinking about it like it passed me off when Mack pulled the rug out from under Major Applewhite for Chris Simms.
The OL is pass protecting better this season. I admit I too am curious to see what he could do with more time to throw. He is the more accurate passer statistically.
Just saw a stat that USC is 11-0 against unranked opponents under Coach Helton I feel good. We get Dele back at LB for added depth
