Yes an anonymous source through a liberal college to a liberal 85 year old senator with an allegation from at least 34 years ago. Good grief the democrats have no shame.
If as even that POS D mentioned the person did not want to pursue wouldn't that be the end of it? I hope the hundreds of millions reasonable Americans see through this.
I saw a story that said "The FBI has confirmed that it is not investigating Kavanaugh in connection to the complaint." I really wish we could have gotten the verbatim response to the complaint... "You're kidding with this, right? Seriously... where's the camera? This is a prank. COME ON OUT MITCH! WE KNOW IT'S YOU! Good one!!"
Yes. My guess is that he may have had sex with a girl who wasn't a student. I don't condone teenagers having sex, but is anyone really ready to make that a disqualifier?
The story now is that he may have.... ugh... it turns my stomach to even think of it... OK here goes: He and a friend may have locked a girl in a room once! I'm not sure what the statute of limitations is on stupid high school pranks, but I don't think you can undersell the level of inhumanity that would drive an underage young boy to think it was funny to lock someone into a room by themselves, allowing them no option but to get out of the room some other way. (Or be let out, not sure about how it ended up yet.)
This sounds very made-up. Democrats are in panic mode. They've tried every maneuver the derail the nomination, and they think his confirmation is the end of the world. There's too much motivation to do this. And it just sounds weak - completely anonymous, reported not to police but to a Democratic member of Congress, waited 30+ years to say anything. It's horse ****.
Yeah, it comes across as so desperate. I would say this really makes them look bad, but this is actually kind of tame for them.
Yeah: Like the Senate Majority leader for not giving President Obama's nominee a hearing. This isn't my behavior or anybody besides Pelosi. If somebody wants to buy her a ticket on a sailboat to India, I'll chip in.
And the Senate majority leader was following VP Biden's established Senate rule by not granting a hearing in a POTUS election year.
@Mr. Deez On a more on point topic, I've heard some Liberals complain about Kavenaugh's support of the unitary executive theory. Any thoughts on that?
Yeah, but those freaks are upset that Fineswine didn't go public back in July. They aren't at all upset about how sleazy and underhanded her tactic was to begin with.
Yes... it's just goes to show that they have no real game plan. They're running on the fumes of hysteria and Feinstein went rogue and they can't believe it. It HELPS Kavenaugh (in my opinion) that the Liberals are openly questioning her tactics because normal people read that (or the few that actually read) and maybe think that they don't have a game plan; they're just in it for each individual self and can't even get this right.
Latest update is that he was more physical with the alleged victim (holding her down before escaping). However, the other person named to be there in the room has denied it along with Kavanaugh. Also, 60 females who knew him in HS have written a letter stating Kavanaugh has never done anything similar based on their collective recollection. Based on my HS experience, we all knew who were the horn dogs and the like. Even if this incident is partially true, which apparently was not significant enough for anyone to remember but the alleged victim, I don’t see how being a jerk in one instance at age 17 is disqualifying.
So here is an alleged attempted rape, and DiFi sits on it for months? How's her standing with #MeToo?
That depends if #MeToo is solely about the issue at hand or regaining political power. I wonder if she spoke with any of them about it.
The fact that they don't get why she did it speaks to a combination of unbelievable naivety and delusion. As I mentioned before, there's one reason and one reason only that Feinstein would have sat on this: she knew that it wasn't going to go anywhere. The only way she had a chance to get mileage out of it was to float it after the question period was over, without sharing the contents so none of her colleagues would league the specific contents. So now, it's completely conjecture and innuendo. She hopes that's enough, but once this actually comes to life fully, people see that it's ridiculous. She doesn't care about the woman or the accusation. She's just trying to get maximum mileage out of it.
She is also trying to stay relevant to the Democratic party so she won't lose the position she's held for hundreds of years.
