Huskers may get their first win of the year/Scott Frost era today. Leading NW 28-14.

Tied at 31 now, going to OT. You may have jinxed them. On the other hand, maybe Nebraska just blows. Yeah, we'll go with that.

    0-6 a first for Nebraska.

One of the talking heads this morning, I believe on GameDay predicted a Husker win and after that for the season they would go on to bowl eligibility with the remaining games.

    Uh,no.

P.S., Huskers now 0-10 for last 10 games.

Could Bethune-Cookman go all Appalachian State on Nebraska down the road?

NU screws themselves with a ground-hopping snap on 4th and 1 in OT....

ESPN crawler after game said Nebraska had a like a 97.8% chance to win after the punt to the one yard line. Lol, oops

noticed how Nebraska has gone downhill (for the worst) since they left their usually respectful ways and became "classless" after Bo took over---oh yeah, don't try to blame your problems on The University---seems like they turned resentful after we pushed Dr Tom around while he was finishing up his tenure there--:smile1: Don't Mess with Texas, Guys!!:hookem:

I enjoyed the fact that we had Nebraska's number while they were in the Big 12... and I mean immensely. However, I feel badly for Scott Frost. I've got a lot of respect for the man and I'd like to see him turn his alma mater around.

He probably will to a reasonable extent, if given the time. Question is, even though he is a favored son, how much time will Husker Nation allow him?

That's a good question. They're not just looking for winning seasons either...Pelini won 9+ and took them to a bowl every year he was there. Keep that going for a while at a place like Iowa or Minnesota and they'd name the stadium after you. At Nebraska it'll get you fired. My guess is being named Scott Frost guarantees him 4 years to lay the foundation and put the wheels back on the bus (because at 0-6 they're off and in the bar ditch somewhere). In any event, NU will be more patient with him than anyone else.

The Arkansaw CornBruins went 1-2 yesterday, now for the year 2-17.

piggy led most of the way against Aging Miss, giving up a losing TD with 0:42 to go. Then intercepted on their final chance drive. Now 1-6 for 2018.

Huskers already noted losing the battle of the NUs in OT, intercepted with NU kicking the FG FTW. Now 0-6.

The Bruins finally broke through bigly, 37-7 over Cal. Now 1-5.

If they could pool their wins somehow, STILL probably will not qualify for an invite to the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl at Howard Schnellenberger Field at FAU Stadium.

Based on what he did at UCF, I suspect that the Nebraska faithful see this as a throw away year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see NU at 7-6 next year, and approaching 9-10 wins in the 2020 season.

He’s a talented coach that will get it done. Nebraska would be wise to hang in there.

Not sure if Nebraska will ever be able to consistently recruit well again.

    Frost has work to do.

True. HS players today have zero experience of past Husker greatness. They are just another Big 10 team, and not an attractive destination at all right now.

I think they could swallow 5-6 or 4-7 as a throw away year. I'm not certain they will so easily dismiss 1-10 or 2-9.

Aren't they like 3-4 deep, what with all those county scholarships that avoid NCAA restrictions on scholarship limits?

    Oh, wait.
