Now they won't even have to go rent their mass murder weapons. They'll be driving them every day. Maybe they can train them to be E.O.D. experts too.

But only teach them how to take off. No need to teach landings.

Hundreds of African immigrants are literally swarming into Spain from Morocco, which I guess is the easiest crossing point between the two continents. I looked through the pictures in the link and I don't recall seeing a single woman or child, just men. They left their families behind (for now). So, however many of these people the EU decides to admit, you can multiply that by a factor of 4 or 5 once they get settled in and want to bring Mama and the kids over.

The three Swedish women police officers are apparently completely unarmed. Well, they may not be very effective, but at least the Police HR gender statistics look good.

If the women can't do the job, what's next, the transgender cops? Maybe three former males could restrain him.

Even some German leftist parties are turning against Merkel's open immigration system

"A border open to all is naive. This is not an especially leftist policy," she insists.

The billions spent by the government to welcome asylum seekers in 2015 "could have helped many more needy people in Germany," she said.

"More economic migrants mean more competition for jobs in the low wage sector. The number of social housing is also not unlimited," she added.

Presumably Wagenknecht and her supporters feel that the only way for them to stop right-leaning politicians is to take away their political monopoly on stronger border enforcement, which is resonating with the general electorate.

Merkel's career might be over. Link. She's stepping down as leader of her party. She could serve until the end of her term in 2121, but it's unlikely that she'll last that long.

Is it true there that "wir schaffen das" has become a slogan for utopians disconnected from the realities of real life?

Germany's history isn't very good regarding political uprisings. They get pretty bloody. Wonder who gets targeted this time.

Good. The interest rates do need to raise a little. Even better they shouldn't be dictated by a central bank but easing them up is a good thing.

How about Hillary saying Europe needs to "deal with their immigration crisis" or it will light the flames of populism that carried Trump into office, caused Brexit, etc.

Hillary Clinton says Europe needs to curb migration to counter nationalism - CNN

Hillary's chameleon nature amazes me. She has no real principals. At least Merkel ignorantly thinks she's doing a good thing. Hillary doesn't care if it's good or bad. All she cares about is will it help win elections. If immigration causes problems, dump it. If it helps you with your base, you're a racist if you're against.

This won't get in the news, but the lady who cuts my family's hair had to cancel our appointment today. The reason why is that her young son got the hell beaten out of him last night by four North African "migrants" on a train in Frankfurt. Furthermore, they videotaped it. He's now being hospitalized for his injuries. Basically, they broke his face.

And regardless of ethnic or religious background, what's up with four guys ganging up on one guy? What a bunch of candy-asses.

That's what migrant youth seem to do - form gangs and and raise hell. Seven Somali migrants were just arrested for chasing people around the University of Minnesota train station with pipes and hammers.

Plenty of them don't do that. The problem is that too many don't assimilate and don't work (in part because they don't assimilate), and that's a recipe for all kinds of problems.

There is a simple solution for that.

There was a simple solution for that. There isn't a very simple solution for it now, because Germany already decided to let them in first and ask questions later.

So this story has attracted a lot of attention here. An Eritrean immigrant (granted asylum in Switzerland back in 2006) pushed a mother and her son in front of a moving train in Frankfurt, killing her son. Not sure if it's terrorism or even if it's a Muslim or just a crazy person. But of course, since his happened at Frankfurt's main station (where I saw a corpse two years ago), there were tons of witnesses and it has become a huge story.

I'm baffled by the most obvious thing we all get...except a couple of us. Why would a refugee want to go back to their home country on holiday? Must not be so bad if they want to go back.
