I understand your question now. We could not arrest a Mexican national while he's at the Mexican embassy. The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations prohibits anyone (including the host nation) from entering an embassy without the consent of the head of the embassy. Could the Mexican national go home without charges? That may be tough, because once he leaves the embassy to leave for the airport, he could be arrested.

That's the conundrum Julian Assange is in. He's wanted for rape in Sweden and is in the Ecuadoran embassy in London. Ecuador has granted him asylum and citizenship, but the embassy is surrounded by police. If he sets foot outside the door, he'll be arrested and extradited to Sweden where he'll face charges or worse (for him) another deportation to the United States.

OK, how complicated are we going to get? lol If the baby is born in the US, it makes no difference. If he was born abroad, it gets dicier. My guess is that if the father isn't named, he's going to be presumed not to be a US citizen. (I don't know that for certain though. Keep in mind that I did God's Work, not immigration law.) If I'm right, then the baby will be a US citizen if the mother was continuously physically present in the US for a certain period of time prior to the birth. If the child was born before June 11, 2017, then that period is one year. If the child was born after that, then the period is five years, two of which must be after the mother reached the age of 14.

Sessions out. With the Senate is now solidly in conservative hands, it will be easier to confirm Sessions’ replacement.

Back when DHS was open, i thought is might be a good idea to move Sessions there since he is good on illegal immigration in general. But now I guess he can go take his seat back from Dougie Jones in 2020

    What about Kobach for AG?

Whitaker is a former US Attorney

Here was his quote on Hillsy --

“The most disturbing aspect of Hillary Clinton’s continued blame game is that she still doesn’t think there was anything wrong with recklessly handling highly sensitive and classified information, intentionally instructing her staff to do the same and then lying to the entire world about it at the United Nations of all places. The American people entrusted her with a great responsibility to put our national security above her own political interests and the fact that she is now asking them to forget her egregious actions is downright shameful. It is this consistent pattern of behavior which erodes the public’s trust. As a former U.S. Attorney, I believed there was a strong case to bring against her and she should be extremely grateful that has not happened.”

Told Mrs. horninchicago just this morning I'd be surprised if booting him to the curb wasn't in the works.

I also said in another thread essentially what you said in your second sentence.

I'd say Christie maybe for AG? That would really get under the Dems' skins for sure. I think he would go after Hillary, et al. Or Giuliani.

Whitaker should now assume the position of monitoring Mueller, bumping Rosenstein.
He is already on record saying Mueller has exceeded his authority

It's quite the 24 hours for Trump --
    Add to the Senate
Has the House to now blame if anything goes wrong
    Sessions out
Rosenstein removed from from overseeing the Russia investigation
Whitaker installed as acting AG and to oversee the Russia investigation

The Central Bank of Iraq has ordered all banks and financial institutions in Iraq to abide by US sanctions against Iran

So even Baghdad is throwing Tehran under the bus

Right but I meant when he names the permanent AG. Maybe Whitaker excels and remains in place.

How about Gowdy for AG? He doesn't care about what the media says about him. Or the dems.

well it IS funny but it is getting old
Dems expose their hypocrisy over and over and over.

I wonder how other Dems feel about this.

But surely there are some Dems who are disgusted by over and over and over, as You point out they change positions 180 degrees to suit the situation to their ideology.

In my personal experience, that used to be true. If they still exist today, they keep their heads down and mouths shut. They know what happens when they speak up, and they just do not want to deal with it.

Liberals are crawling up Trump's butt over his use of the word nationalism. But question should be why do liberals think it's such a bad word? Why is patriotism so wrong?

And I have always wondered what do these people do during the Olympics? Do they hide under their beds?
The World Cup must want to make them blow their brains out
