Sweat recently got a ratings bump in the recruit rankings
His composite number went up about ~50 points.
FWIW, he was also the 2017-18 Defensive MVP for his district in BBall (20-5A)

Watch the PNG-Huntsville game film. It wasn't pretty for Roschon and the Indians

I hope we can get a few D-lineman. We're pretty thin there.

Unless we are moving to the SEC all we need is one DT in this class and a couple of DE/LB as those positions tend to be interchangeable

I would like more offensive linemen, I'm hoping for a class of about 5 in this class, that would be a good start, but if not 3 solid high school and one juco as well. Next year is the year to get a big oline class.

Agreed. Few seem to think this though.

It's possible this means good news for us elsewhere. We will see.

Sucks that Leal bought into the hype of Jimbo, he will likely go 4 years and never finish above 3rd in the SEC west. Texas is moving in the right direction, but with a guy like Leal, that movement would have been a lot faster.

Bottom line is the Ags have a mountain to climb while Texas has a hill to climb.

IT saying we lead for ATH Bru McCoy of Santa Ana (they have it at 60% to Texas). They think SC is the underdog now

However, a few CBs have come today of McCoy to USC (but none of them were from Calif guys)
McCoy still has an OV to USC set for Dec 1, and UCLA in Dec as well. On top of those two visits, the family says they want him to take one more UOV to Texas before the early signing period.
But no ou (that OV was canceled)

RJ had five rushing TDs tonight, three on fourth down. Kid always plays hard, but he looked like he had an attitude tonight. Tied 7-7 at the half, he took over in the third quarter.

OB's Suchomel spoke with Noah Cain's dad after his OV to Austin and thiks we lead. However, he still has OVs to PSU, LSU and tOSU.

“The visit went extremely well. The entire family left feeling good. We got answers to a lot of questions we wanted to find out, of course in reference to the actual backfield presently, how they’re going to use Noah. All of that was identified and of course, Noah would be one of their every-down backs coming in. We’re not trying to beat him up early, but he would have significant impact in the gameplan right away.

“I tell you, we left there feeling comfortable. All of his mom’s questions were answered - the academic piece, the entire structure of the program outside of football at UT. The culture is really in place. The student athletes have bought in. It’s really working and you’re seeing the fruits early (under this staff).

“With Noah, he’s a Metroplex guy, played for Denton Guyer before transferring to IMG. So returning back home, to be that featured back for the program. Coach (Stan) Drayton is a very, very good running backs coach in developing young running backs to reach their goals to get to the NFL. He has done extremely well, has had numerous backs over his 26-plus years have success not only at the collegiate level, but pro level as well. Like Ezekiel Elliott, when he came in, he wasn’t ready. It was a process along with him buying into the vision (Drayton) had for him. He said look, this guy was able to do some remarkable things when I had him back at Ohio State. ...."

    Some Hoofkin quotes --

“Right now it’s playing time. I want to set myself up to start or play a lot as a freshman. Just to get some experience, if possible, get those years and then be able to go to the next level.”

“They have a good amount of depth as far as o-linemen. I know coach Hand is looking for more lean tackles like Cosmi, that type of build at tackle. I know he’s looking more of that in the last couple years. So I’m really trying to set myself up to be that guy for these schools.”

It sounds like JUCO LB Caleb Johnson will be down to us and Oregon. As of this moment, we have the lead --

“It’s still Texas but it’s still going to be a hard decision ...”

DE Myron Warren visited LSU last weekend and did not get an offer.
However, they are still considering him.
He will be in Austin for ISU and can still take an OV to Texas after that.

Giles has been in contact with JUCO DE Malcolm Lee (6'5,250) of Iowa Western Community College and he says he will probably visit us in Dec.
He is the #22 JUCO overall and #5 weak-side DE.

It appears we have offered 2019 RB DJ Williams (5'11, 210) from Sebring, FL. He is called a "late riser" and will be an EE. Auburn and Tenn offered earlier this week
    He is Edgerrin James' nephew.

Holland CBd WR Kennedy Lewis to Florida.
I interpret this to mean he thinks McCoy to the good guys
McCoy will be a WR, at least to start off -- and, if he was watching LJH tonight, he had to think "that looks like fun"
