It's hard to believe that OU is already 2 - 3. They still have to play Auburn, New Mexico, UConn & DePaul. I could easily see 3 losses in that, maybe all 4. 2-2 would be the best I could see coming out of that. Can they possibly go any better than .500 in conference play with likes of BU, TX, WV, ISU etc on the slate.

OU fans aren't too confident about finishing at .500 in the conference right now.

Thought the Big 12/SEC started on Sunday. Actually starts on Thursday with KU @ LSU and TCU @ Ole Miss.

Four of the five Big 12/SEC games hosted by the SEC will be on the SEC Network. The fifth, BU @ S. Carolina, will be on ESPN2. Only two of the five games hosted will be on FS1 (Tx vs Miss State & Tenn vs OSU) while two (Arkansas vs ISU & Mizzou vs WVU) will be on online pay services and Vandy vs KSU will be on ESPN3. At least I will be able to watch five of the games and part of the sixth (Tech vs Florida) which is on at the same time as Texas vs Miss State. I will have to switch between the OU @ Auburn and the Tenn vs OSU games as well since both are on at the same time but one on FS1 and the other on SEC Network.

Am I reading this right? You are watching the TX - MST game on TV rather than live? I am considering coming to that game and thought I would look you up if you were there. I figured after it was over I'd hit a good sports bar and watch the UConn - ND game, then at 6 watch the BU - SC game. That's about all the good basketball a man could stand for one day.

Sheri is a good coach but the Sooners are so inexperienced....this is definitely going to be a rebuilding season for them. Of 12 on the roster, 7 are frosh and 3 more sophs...just two upperclassmen on the squad :yikes:. They do have four averaging 14 points per game or more, and Veitenheimer is off to a good start, with respectable shooting stats, and leading the squad in both assists and steals. All things considered, they're doing about as well as could possibly be expected. One positive for the Sooners is those newcomers are getting a trial by fire, and learning fast.

Yep, watching all games on tv or online. Several factors led to my having to give up my season tickets.

Well hope everything works out for you. I'll miss you there, but we have to cope with whatever life brings us.

True. Got a 65 inch 4K HD that I am thinking of trading in for 75 or 80 inch one.

Hurst was just awesome! I watched the whole game until I lost the stream (within the last minute of the game of course). OU either doesn't have any height, or Coach Coale doesn't trust the bigs she has. Madi Williams is very impressive!

Dang, looks like they are in bad shape to compete in the Big 12.

Re their bigs, their forum were unimpressed with them before the New Mexico game. Looks like OU is going small this season.

wow, looks like ISU's stay in the top 25 is going to be a short one. Cyclones drop a 64-59 game to South Dakota.

Tech joined Texas as the two Big 12 teams winning as the Lady Raiders beat SFA 77-69.

I watched the ISU - SD game on internet. The first two qtrs were a disaster for the Clones. They scored a total of 18 points by half. Didn't look at all like they had the first 5 games. They face Drake and Iowa (both ranked) very shortly. Gonna be tough.

Kansas getting the Big 12 off to a good start in the Big 12/SEC challenge. KU 67-LSU 59 with 10 sec.

Edit -- Final is 68-61 KU. LSU turnovers and made 3 pointers by KU standout in the boxscore.

I believe KU had something like 8 3s in the first half. They finished the game 12-21 for 57.1% from BTA. LSU was 0-4 from BTA. Six Jayhawks nailed a 3. Kinda interesting when hitting 40% from BTA drags down the team 3pt %.

TCU with a slow start but now up 22-11 with 6:20 to go in the half.

TCU wins 55-50, scoring the last four pts of the game. Way too close a game against a team that was basically rebuilt after nine transfers out when the previous coach was fired.

Still, the Big 12 is out to a 2-0 start over the SEC. :hookem2:

Not a B12 game but Lamar beat A&M in College Station tonight. The Aggie point guard was suspended for the game. I am having a senior moment and can’t remember her name. But the leadership that Blair was working on with her is going to need a reboot. Another indication of why Danni left.

Chennedy Carter. And I don’t think we know the reason for Danni leaving.

Hadn't realized the Aggie PG had been suspended for that game. Gotta admit I was surprised that Lamar had beaten them when I saw the score.

OSU pulls out a 66-55 win over Tx State on Friday.

Big 12 goes 6-2 before Sunday's games. Only ISU and OU lose with ISU's loss being the biggest surprise, imo.
