ISU picks up win #3 for the Big 12, 91-82 over Arkansas. Texas loses to Miss. State, 67-49. Tech goes down to Florida, 72-67. Currently, the Big 12 is up 3-2. Doesn't look good in two games, though.
Not sure I would call a 16 pt loss a demolition but it could have been better. Both Oklahoma schools go down, OU to Auburn 95-79 and OSU to Tenn 76-63. KSU beat Vandy 72-61 Big 12 & SEC tied with four wins each. WVU down nine to Mizzou with three minutes left in the third. BU and S. Carolina up on ESPN2 at six pm.
Mizzou pulls away from WVU, 68-51. Baylor wins 94-69 over S. Carolina, even with some sloppy play in the fourth. Brown looks more mobile than Miss. State's McCowan. But McCowan is almost automatic from near the basket, Brown missed some chippies. She also showed off increased range out to the FT line, something new, if not totally reliable.
I was at the game today. MSST was certainly better than TX, but in my opinion I think any top 10 team would have thumped them today. They are just not meshing together very well. Sutton was really the only one putting out today. I was also extremely surprised at how small the crowd was considering the matchup. After the game I met with some friends at a sports bar and we watched UConn-ND. That was a good game. the Huskies have the best starting 5 in the nation imo. We just kept hanging out and didn't leave till after the BU-SC game. By the time we left there wasn't anything left to eat or drink in the place.
