So. I never look Medusa (Kim Mulkey) in the face as I don't want to be turned into stone, but a question if someone can answer? In the Big12-SEC matchups, did the powers that be make the matches or did schools have a say in it? I wondered how Baylor would have handled MSU? I had to look up (gah) the Baylor site and was surprised to see them beat SC 94-69 (gulp), but then saw that they beat South Dakota State only by 72-66 (must have made them run laps for that). I also see that they have Stanford and UConn (!) on their schedule. She maybe a b****, but she doesn't have fear. Go Tree and Huskies!

South Carolina, thus far, is a shade of what they were last year after losing A’ja Wilson. Yesterday’s loss to Baylor was their 4th this season in addition to Maryland, Oregon State and Drake.

As far as matchups are concerned, I’d think the schools would have some input. With UCONN and Stanford already on Baylor’s schedule and Texas with only 1 other guaranteed big game (Tennessee), I can see how the 2 schools would’ve agreed on Texas taking the more significant challenge.
