First one I have paid attention to. Can't say that I agree with Crème putting Texas down as a sixth seed. I would have them as a four seed. But it will play out during conference season.

I agree BabHorn... I think slotting us that low at this juncture is a bit extreme. Although we have played a few times (against weak competition) like a team that barely deserves the Top 25, the bottom line is we have still managed to win those games and that's not different from what I've seen out of some others like Tennessee and such.

Having said that, I think this years Big 12 race is going to see a lot of parity aside from Baylor being pretty much a good level above the rest of us. If we're not real careful about being focused every game, we could very well find ourselves with a conference record that justifies a #6 seed or maybe lower.

Charlie Crème doesn't have much respect for us at this point. Or the Big 12, except for Baylor and Iowa State, whom he has as a #4 (even though they're not ranked and we're ranked 12/13 this week, I believe). I've always thought this bracketology thing was silly. What good is it, other than just one person's idle speculation. Just something to talk about, I guess.

This week's version has four Big 12 teams: Baylor, Texas, ISU and Kansas.
Crème has Texas up one spot at #5 but has now placed them in UConn's side of the bracket. Kansas is also on that side.

Well you don't want to end up on ND's side as they really have 5 players that can be your leading scorer and the size in post.
They won't put in Baylor's bracket.
That leaves Louisville and UConn....Louisville could be the best match up. If you stop Durr then you have a good chance.
UConn has not looked that great in last several games. If you tried to mimic what Baylor did and the fact that we have the size inside to stop Collier. So that may not be the worst bracket to be in.

It's really silly to start all this speculation so early. Every time somebody gets beat Charlie has to scramble to re-project who will be what. Until the season ends there's no way to know. Injuries can change a lot of things. One team gets hot and goes on a tear. Another team for no explainable reason starts losing. It aint over till it's over. Play till then and make a bracket based on facts.
