It's hilarious that the handful of posters on here who feel Mulkey can do no wrong, and criticize Coach A for not playing certain freshman players more have no clue that Baylor fans are livid with Mulkey for not playing highly-touted freshman, Aquira Decosta and Honesty Scott-Grayson more; in fact, there's a thread on the Baylor message board created solely to discuss why those two players (and Bickle from Arizona) can't find the court much this season.

Guess, what? Coaches have their reasons. Most of the time, we don't know those reasons, and never will. Whether it's Kim, Geno, Karen, Muffet, Waltz, etc.
I wanted all our freshmen to play more last season; didn't happen. I was disappointed. But, now I realize there had to have been good reasons.
This year, we've seen our freshmen play a lot. Maybe a couple are playing more due to Lashann's injury. Bottom line is that Coach A, throughout her time as Texas head coach, has played several of her true freshman significantly, and it's typically because they earned that playing time in practice, and by doing the right things when inserted in games -- Audrey Warren, Joyner Holmes, Lashann Higgs, Brooke McCarty, and Ariel Atkins are prime examples.
