Those eight-inch floppies are AWESOME! But, just wait until you get the 5 1/4"- real space savers...

I do believe that is House Park BBQ at 900 West 12th Street in Austin.

Perhaps so, but the sign would make you think you were in OK...

Humorous as it may be to assign it to Mobilehoma, that is, in fact, an Austin institution (of sorts). 900 W. 12th Street as I recall...

Cake bakers have been forced by the courts to develop new and inventive ways to voice political dissent. Here, an American cake baker had an order for a "Happy Canada Day" cake

There were a couple of motorheads in our HS that souped up old VW bugs. They also each ran a custom exhaust with a tailpipe that stuck up high in the air (4-5 feet high) in the back. Those super-bugs could really move. At least the older bugs came with air-cooled engines. The Germans did things differently.

Had one of those 572 big blocks in a 68 Camaro SS. Every time I started it my neighbors' car alarms went off.

I had a 1968 Camaro back in HS and college. 327 cu in. “Powerglide” transmission

Yours must have been awfully front heavy, because even mine was.

It was way too much engine. Scary fast 720 h.p. and handled like hell which is a bad combination. Had to buy 110 octane from the racing store to gas up. Would like to get a 327 now as an everyday driver.
