Well then, perhaps that 4.4 speed helped him avoid getting shot by a jealous husband. In such case, when he runs a streak, he’s faster than a speeding bullet...
yep, and remember him driving along speedway (when it was still a road) in a black Beamer with a hot looking blonde as his passenger...
#32 LB - Lance Taylor I'm uphauled I could not find a photo - perhaps I can get a lifeline from one of you!
Yup. You, me and Baoklahorn (who is friends with Lance who now lives in Tulsa) all "what if" the same thing. It was a huge blow to the D not having Lance play versus the lowly irish 1/1/78.
Kiki DeAyala All-SWC, AA, team captain 1982. Holds team records that season with 33 tackles for loss and 22.5 sacks. Longhorn career leader with 40.5 sacks.
Aaron Ross #31 CB My favorite DB among all DB's in UT history. It's close Michael Huff and Bryant Westbrook are not far behind.
Aaron Ross. AA, Thorpe award winner, 205 tackles, 33 PBU, 10 INTs, 3 punt retunrs for TDs (tied for first all-time at UT).
Agree. It's hard not to like this guy. I don't remember exactly but didn't he have some type of qualification issues that weren't of his doing that delayed his admission to UT. He could have gone to other schools but never wavered.
The best rush end in our history (and we've had some real good ones). A QB sacking machine. Consider that his eye-popping stats were from an era when the running game (or at least a balanced offense) was still more prominent than the passing game with most college offenses. Also a USFL Houston Gambler.
^^^^ IIRC, Joey Aboussie was a HS All American 1969 - 1970 that everyone recruited and DKR snagged. Led Wichita Falls HS to a state title I believe in 1969. He set some Texas HS rushing records that have since been broken.
