$40 bucks a pop and they sold out at the baseball stadium by the 5th inning Friday night. Man those Yeti boys are printing money.
What, speaking of printing money via overpriced goods, are they filled with Tito's vodka? A billionaire selling ethanol and water.
I’ve been gifted a few artic brands at work over the last few years they seem to work okay. Never purchased a yeti anything until now the burnt orange color sold me, it just looked nice.
I have 5 of the HEB brand Kodi cups and they work well for less than half the price. I'll leave a cup on the counter after finishing a drink just before I go to bed, come home from work the next afternoon and there will still be a little bit of ice in it. If YETI works better than that then kudos to them, but why would anyone want a cup of ice to last more than 20 hours and pay twice as much to get the name?
Vol, I have been gifted both an RTIC and 40 oz Yeti. I alternate them. It is my experience that Yeti is a little better over 18-24 hours, but who keeps ice that long. Both keep some of the ice over 24 hours if someone needs that.
HEB, man talk about a blast from the past I haven’t stepped foot inside one of those since I left Beaumont Texas at 18. They are basically non existent in DFW.
We live in Addison and make a trip to the store Burleson every now and then if we have not been in Austin for a while. It is not a bad drive on a Sunday when all of the construction is shut-in.
You could drive from Addison to the HEB at Katy Frwy & Bunker Hill in Houston faster than you can find a parking place there. Charlie Butt really knows the grocery business. It's been a long time since Mr Collum sold to Robert Onstead, who subsequently sold to Safeway, who has sold to Albertsons. The original agreement between the Butt family and Krogers has long since dissolved. I should think that Central Market would do great in certain parts of the Metroplex - snob appeal if nothing else.
You forgot United in that list of Albertson's Group. HEB has plenty of real estate up here, but their company line is all we will get are Central Markets.
Ditto. I ordered one for my brother and then went ahead and added one for me. They arrived yesterday. I'll send his to him along with the slippers mom was knitting (burnt orange with an off-white sole and trim around the ankle- she used the off white since she knew the orange would bleed a little when they were washed before she did the felting part of the process).
So has anyone heard if they are going to restock these? I see they have white ones but I really want a burnt orange one. I live in GA and would love to get one shipped to me.
HEB and Central Market are awesome! When I go to the store I pass Kroger to go to HEB! My wife laughs about that, but I am from San Antonio where HEB started. Brand loyalty I guess!
Was at my local Academy last evening and these new colors were not yet available, or at least i didn't notice them.
i bought a yeti wine tumbler in the clay color at Dick's here in Corpus Christi. Does anyone own both a Texas burnt orange yeti with the longhorn logo, and also something in the clay color? Is the color identical?
Yes! Thanks for posting @earl77. I was looking for this recently and it wasn’t available at the Co-op. I am going to buy a couple to give as awards for the prediction contest winner(s) at the end of the season. Thought it would be a nice gift. Unfortunately, no.
