I have a friend that would like to get the LHN. Unfortunately, he uses Comcast for his TV service.

Can anyone tell me how he can gain access to the LHN either on his TV or internet?

I might also be interested. I keep AT&T only because of LHN. I despise AT&T.

I assume you're talking about streaming feeds. I would just google for Texas vs La Tech streaming like right when the game starts and there should be about a hundred links... some of which will be shut down during the game.

I guess if you want to go about it the "normal" way, you just switch to a provider who has it.

I have AT&T TV NOW for streaming live TV and it's only ok. I've heard similar problems with PlayStation Vue regarding the GUI and how long it takes for some programs to load, but once the show gets going, it seems fine. But LHN is typically only offered on regional packages... like if you lived in California or something, they wouldn't carry LHN at all.

My in-laws borrow my brother's login info for his provider (I think Spectrum) to watch on their out-of-state TV.

ESPN+ should get you LHN if it is not on your local provider. $5/month?

I have ESPN+ and it is there for sure. Supposedly if the Comcast/Disney contract is for the full load of ESPN Networks (Disney started insisting on this a few years ago) and you live in Texas, LHN should be available as it is an ESPN network. There are territorial restrictions evident by AT&T's not opening the ACC Network to Texas.

ATT TV Now works fine and use a VPN w Dallas location to get around any viewing restriction. Have watched the Horns this way all over the US and Mexico many times.
ESPN+ should be a cheap option also.

Yeah I noticed the Clemson game being featured on ESPN streaming but since it was on ACCTV I could not get it as it was padlocked and not on my cable plan.

I have the Amazon Fire Box. It's a lot less cost that cable or Direct TV and besides the low monthly fee, I only pay for certain channels that I want to watch. I has the LHN included in the Espn app. Check it out, and it has voice control, so I just sit down with a beer and tell it what I want to watch.

This is from the LHN FAQ:
Am I able to watch LHN online, on my mobile phone or tablet device?
LHN is available to stream via the ESPN App and WatchESPN on computers, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Xbox One, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices. Streaming access to LHN requires a subscription from an affiliated video service provider. Please contact your provider to check availability.

LHN only shows up in ESPN+ if you already have a service provider that includes LHN in their packages. If you're just a dude in Kansas or whatever and pay the $5/month for ESPN+, but don't have any credentials from a service provider to log in, then you're basically stuck with the items that air ONLY on ESPN+ (like Tier III rights to college football games) or reruns/web-only shows from ESPN networks that aren't live.

So if your service provider is not on this list, then you're basically SOL.

It seems like people are pretty evenly split on this board and cool with the 3rd party illegal streams. That has been the "European" method for a while now, with reportedly two-thirds of soccer fans in Europe only watching illegal streams of their games of choice. Fine by me because I'm not a cable rep, but I have a bad feeling that the whole world is going to turn into a "pay-to-stream everything" model soon and then people like me who subscribe to a provider are going to be dead in the water.
