How many threads does Texas have on the SEC Rant right now? Top 10 and aggy plays #1 Clemson the same day.

    Poor aggy.

As to his first point, LSU is one team for which the heat and humidity will not be an advantage for us. It's not like Michigan or Boston College is coming down to play in 100 degree temp in Austin... Also, LSU has shifted to a spread offense that could test the conditioning of opposing defenses just like our offense does.

LSU's linemen are fatter and in poor conditioning compared to ours, so there's that.

Not so sure that LSU's linemen are fatter and in poorer condition than UT's. Quite a few lost weight this off season, and they all talked about the challenges early on of the HUNH in practice. I would assume they are ready for the fast pace, given they practiced it in the spring and this fall. We'll find out soon enough.

By the way, LSU ran 73.1 snaps per game last year against UT's 74.6. So it's not like you run at a crazy pace compared to what LSU did last year.

But it is a slow motion spread offense.

Two games somewhat remind me of this... somewhat, so cut me a little slack

Georgia last year and USC in the NC

Here’s my unsolicited perspective the night before.

Sam Ehlinger is very well prepared for this moment. I don’t know if the same can be said about his counterpart at LSU.

Think about this: As a true freshman, on the road, in only his second game, Ehlinger miraculously engineered what should have been a game winning drive against USC. The same year he also brought Texas, a huge underdog, to the brink against OU and a Heisman QB. Sure, Texas lost those games and he made mistakes that year but talk about preparation. The point is simply that Ehlinger is extremely prepared for this game. It won’t be to big for him.

Texas’ O-Line. Sure, I know that LSU is big and nasty but did anyone watch our O-Line last Saturday? I don’t care that it was La Tech. There’s something special brewing up there.

The LSU Hype. Apparently they have the greatest D in recorded history, with studs and future NFL stars everywhere. Guess we’ll see, but I have to wonder. That’s a lot of hype to live up to...

I like our changes. I really like our chances.

LSU students got Tebow's phone number in 2007. This is what he did after a TD that year:

Everything is fatter in Louisiana, linemen, fans, women. except for wallets, judging by the ticket price complaints, they don't have fat wallets.

All of the know it all that we listened to On the way down were basing their glowing reports of LSU's offense in their win over some Georgia High School.

If Orlando is worth his salary, if Texas loses it should not be due to LSU's offense.
