I think they'll be able to handle some pretty complex schemes.

    Is this "Electrical Engineering"?

I interpreted it to mean "early entry"

Still rumors out there that Evans got into with his coaches again at the end of the week, quit the team

I respect his talent but I am glad we have Bijan
On the other hand maybe Evans runs with a little more piss and vinegar.

Or maybe you mistake a guy cruising into the endzone on a highlight reel with a lack of fire. It's still a silly take.

Surely the play of our corners had to help Ringo take notice. Not sure what Georgia's depth chart look like but he has to see the ability to come and compete to start at Texas. Any update on him?

Would love to have him, but let’s give our corners a break. Our inexperience showed against a very talented WR with much more playing time. We have great potential, I’m sure you will see this by mid season. It’s game 2, let’s be patient.

What fun would that be? This is Hornfans- we go from the sky is falling to on top of the world week to week. As recent as last year, I thought we should give up the program after I walked out of the Maryland loss in DC and then 4 months later walking out of the Superdome I thought we would never lose another game!

You're point is spot on though. Season is early and those young DB's will have a chance to grow up in a hurry during conference play.

Hope they start the process very quickly - there are some potent offenses in the Big XII. Some game scores could resemble basketball scores.

Only OU and maybe a really motivated Baylor or ISU looks very threatening. Who knows who will be QB at TCU when Texas plays them?

With Gundy as coach and two excellent skill players, Texas is going to have to stay on top of them to win.

So is Ransom in play? I know Miller is reputedly coming with Bijan on his next visit,

Do not know squat about the other OT.

And while we should beat Tech by a few TD, Bowman can put some points on the board.

Our young CBs have some raw talent, but they’re playing like underclassmen (no big surprise there).

I'm not worried about Tech, there will be lots of growing up before then.

I'm concerned about Gundy and Riley, both of whom are weeks away.

The OSU game may turn into a scoring track meet, as OSU can (will) pick us apart if given the room to make the catches by the DBs. At least we will be at home and hopefully the crowd will be as loud as in the LSU game. OU is always tough, the entire secondary has to be on top of their game. Can't have the brain farts on assignments in either game.

Ringo is more like a Stingley. Stingley looked really good against us in the LSU game. Ringo would be an instant starter. I’m not sure any of our CB’s are good enough to keep Ringo off the field if we could get him.

I've been watching this game. Currently Haines King of Longview ( the number 1 dual QB of the nation- if I hear the announcers say that one more time I am going to scream) has thrown 3 ints. John Tyler is terrible though not very well coached. Our guy kitan Crawford looks good however. King had a few good throws but I'm not really impressed with him. Longview is bigger on the lines and is controlling the game with the run. 28 -0
