Security was keeping them out. Finally, the one in the lower northeast corner was allowed to fill in right at kickoff. The two on the Southeast upper and lower allowed a few in, but were never full. I thought of leaving Fenves a message asking if it was an Asian holiday. (If you don't know, our school is 19%+ Asian)
What usually happens is students will sneak into the better student sections with friends and be jammed in like sardines in a can, thus leaving large empty sections where they are supposed to be.....At least that is what happened when my kids went to Texas...I'm sure the same thing happens now...
Looks like the decision will be between having the students on Bevo Blvd. or standing in a security line?
When I first saw the empty upper level sections in pre-game on TV, I assumed that the Longhorn Alumni Band was in attendance and would perform. Obviously I was wrong.
Yep. It was really frustrating to go the game with 1 or 2 buddies and be stuck on a row with a bunch of jackasses trying to cram like 13 people into 8 seats.
