I know a lot of that was just running through space, but man does that guy pass the eye test.

I see speed but I also see elusiveness in full speed cuts like Bijan.

Is Harrison one of those late bloomers that Herman is so good at finding? Staff has a great eye for finding talent.

They say he is dynamic and could play offense or defense. He is also supposed to be terrific returning kicks. So, yes, we have seen this before -- continuing to look at players the whole time, always evaluating.

Well, when aTm cannot get their ex-coach to attend the aTm game, might as well join him at the RRR.

Remember, Coach Stallings was HC at both Alabama & at aTm. He won aTm one of few SWC Championships then beat his old coach & Alabama in The Cotton Bowl. He then learned to coach with Coach Landry & The Cowboys before moving on to Tuscaloosa.

Yes, he's a died in the wool Aggie, but he's also a damn fine human being.

He's eaten food from Yoakum Packing for decades.

Suchomel of Rivals with a Jackson to Texas in the Rivals version of a CB
    Might explain the BC tweet.

This was a pull from a national article about the QBs by Spiegelman. The net of it is that Card should pass King soon in the Rivals rankings

Hudson Card is the clear-cut QB1 in Texas. At the beginning of the cycle, I felt Card was a Rivals100 prospect. His film was incredible and you saw glimpses of what makes the future Longhorn so special. He has a strong arm, but what is more impressive is how accurate he is throwing all over the yard. In-person, Card showed off how mobile he is against Mansfield Timberview as he sliced up a very talented defense with his arms and legs. The future of Texas football is very bright with Card on the way. As it stands now, Card should leap Haynes King who drew a lot of buzz in the offseason -- as the top signal-caller in Texas.

Aggy will go crazy. They will say if it’s Jimbo’s choice, that is all that matters. But Jimbo not so hot now. Aggy better beat those Mississippi schools or all hell will break loose.

That is why Stallings presence at the RRR instead of the aTm-'Bama game is so significant. It is a major putdown of the Jimbo Show. Stallings is not a believer.

I hadnt even noticed that. In this class we have Dorbah and possibly Hullaby. We still love Josh White and will pursue him until the end (and beyond). We also have the backup plan in place (mentioned above). In 2021, we have Harris in the house so far. Ive read our coaches seem to think Floyd will be released to play next season. Ive also read they have a definite plan for LB next season.
While Orlando's LB recruiting has been hard to figure out, it is also true that this position is not the same that it used to be, especially in this conference.

Well if Floyd becomes available and if we get that kid from Texarkana, Smith I think is his name,Dorbah and Harris and perhaps a juco we'll be fine. Also I hear JQJ might b a possibility. I hear he's good at LB

And I think that is one reason he has been surprised by Mitchell.

TFG had Eaton in with us too. It will be interesting to see how he goes after Texas wins.

Yep. And I don't see Landon Jackson. I'm not sure if he's a LB or DE in college, but he's definitely an *** kicker.

At 6'6,240 (and still growing), he's a weakside DE
Like Fillinger, he gives a good pass rush, something we are desperate for, as today showed
I guess he could have played OLB for the NYG or Ravens back in the day

I probably should wait at least 24 hours after a game like the one today before relating it to recruiting, but I am the type who looks for trends and patterns. It cant be helped. And this one doesnt look so good at the moment

Mack Brown outrecruited ou and almost everyone else but was only 6-9 against Stoops
Herman is outrecruiting ou and almost everyone else but is already just 1-3 against Riley

The point is that Mack Brown supposedly out-recruited Bob Stoops but still won two Big 12 titles in his time at Texas. I responded that Mack got out-coached by Stoops. Tom Herman just got here. When you can say he's out-recruiting Lincoln, let's talk....
