Really? Find one? McCain, Cruz, Pelosi, Cummings. They start the insults.

Rumble at a Republican Primary Debate
The feud between Trump and Kelly started Aug. 6, 2015, at the first Republican presidential debate, when the two had a contentious back-and-forth.
In a question directed at Trump, Kelly said, “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

Kelly started this though I admit the topic was fair game. However I can’t imagine anyone in the media asking a similar question to Hillary about what she said about women. The phrase of the question was certainly not fair. Again, Trump attacks equally and against all those who come after him.

Um...Trump actually said those things...in public. It was a legitimate question from a legitimate journalist. He shouldn't have to answer to them? That's beyond ludicrous.

If Biden went after Anderson Cooper being gay for asking about Hunter Biden would you also consider that a "counterpunch"? Trump shouldn't have to answer to the public things he said about women?

You deny it was an “attack” question? I’m willing to call this a draw. Trump was attacked with this question that wouldn’t have been asked of Hillary.

You make fine points but not related to what I said.

According to Kelly, Trump felt attacked.
"I'm sure nerves were high as they were for all of the candidates. He felt attacked. It wasn't an attack," Kelly said.

I stand by statement that Trump counter punches when attacked. If you want to say he shouldn’t have been taken it that way, I wouldn’t argue, which is why I called it a draw a few posts earlier.

I only see what you wrote but MKelly was definitely on the attack

But I say there was much more going on there than the debate itself. It was a manipulative self-promotional attack. I think it was more about Kelly's desire to move from cable news to daytime network TV where she hoped to become a sort of Nordic Oprah. In order to have a chance at that, she had to first be able to distance herself from Fox News. Otherwise network TV would never accept her as one of their own. Lucky for her, Trump appeared to give her that chance. Once he did, I think she began to scheme and plan. In this light, her stance as a moderator was not really about Trump, it was about her own career advancement. She did not see Trump as the enemy and it was not personal for her. Trump was just a convenient tool for her to use. And it worked. She got her chance and got the bigger salary she coveted.

Asking anything but softball questions are an attack? Seriously? Maybe that's whtmy he's not fit for public office. Anyone who assumes a different viewpoint is an "attack" is clearly too thin skinned for politics and especially foreign policy.

Wait, Trump has never taken comments from Authoritarians as attacks, except in the very early days of Kim Jong Un. Maybe he isn't a counter puncher as much as a Bully who attacks anyone he sees as "weak" while cowering to strength. Like many things, I think you may have misconstrued this "counter puncher" narrative for something else entirely.

M Kelly definitely attacked Trump first. What Trump said about Rosie was also a counter punch to Rosie going after him on the View. The feud kept going on from there. So McHammer you are right.

Notice how Trump is always the victim for his supporters?

He was a victim of Kelly in the same way HRC was for choosing to use her own email system. I guess the media must have been attacking her too during the debates for questions related to the email server and Benghazi.

I just considered all of that valid questions that Americans should want to know about candidates for POTUS.

Did you notice nobody said he was a victim? Trump obviously can take care of himself. He counters and then the left cries about it. It’s so predictable.

Not going to argue if Trump is thin-skinned or not. The argument is whether Trump attacks first. I don’t think he goes after people until they go after him. He also can make amends if the attacks stop, like Cruz, or continue to attack if the attacks on him continue like McCain or Romney. People with TDS cannot see him for who he is as long as they have their confirmation bias blocking their vision. Trump was nice to Pelosi when he was inaugurated. Pelosi was the one who started attacking Trump.

Saying he never attacks first but only responds when "attacked" IS claiming hexs a victim. He's suddenly the "injured" party thus is merely responding.

This is the more appropriate description of DJT's "counterpunch" strategy.

Defending by counter punching is not victimization nor bullying. It is a separate category.

What category does a simple answer to a debate question fall in?

He did answer the question during the debate. The counter attack came after the debate in an interview when he was asked about it. Further the debate question was loaded and unfair.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Using your rational every single debate question ever asked was loaded and unfair.

I win the bet. I'll be reaching out to those of you who claimed I35 didn't know how to link to supporting evidence.
