I'm not sure if this is thin-skinned or my sarcasm meter is off. We've seen flight logs that Bill went to Epstein's island. We've seen videos of Trump slapping models' asses while partying with Epstein. Again, who has more to lose right now?

Jeffrey Epstein’s connections to Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, explained
They seem equally intertwined with him. I don't know how much time John Barron spent with him.

This quote is telling: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump booms from a speakerphone. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

Side note: Can we at least agree that it is embarrassing as a country that we have a guy elected to the Presidency who pretended to be his own spokesperson and how it sounds like it should come from North Korea?

Here's what I will "admit." I was stunned when Trump won the nomination, much less the general election. We all knew Trump to be a blowhard wheeler dealer who was an iconic figure in our society AND WHO APPEARED had lots of friends on both sides of the aisle. Now he's the President. I'd rather his big fat yap be shut down like yesterday but I'm not necessarily alarmed by all this "being Presidential" stuff because, for instance, I doubt you care one bit about Ronald Reagan's smooth, morning in America delivery.

If a crime has been committed then let's impeach. Otherwise it all comes down to what you want as a Liberal, what others want as Conservatives and everything else in between (which is where I live).

I liked Reagan. I didn't agree with him. My first Presidential vote was for GHWB and I didn't vote for a Dem until 2008.

Sometimes we need morning in America, city on a hill, I have a dream, etc. This poopstorm of bullying behavior and schizophrenic policy (trade wars, foreign policy clusterf's, etc) has moved us lower in the world. That position was once the "leader of the free world". We're not that anymore. Sad.

Ok. I didn't mean to stereotype you. I've read many vicious comments about Reagan over the years including attacks on the morning in America sunshine as being hopelessly out of touch. We have all been lulled to sleep by smooth talking politicians. That's what they do.

I'm not saying Trump's style is the answer. I know for a fact many friends of mine including Latino's in South Texas LOVE his bravado. They think he's playing games with it in the sense that he's tweaking the Left because he doesn't care what they think. It makes them feel good even if he's lying. They see it as a big FU and is not real; it's more on the lines of a knife-fight and can't be judged as normal honest people would. They are fed-up with the illegals down there. Trump appeals to their visions of "manhood" and they were very impressed when he came to Laredo not long after he said the things he did about illegals. He wasn't scared. He came down and listened to the locals.

Leader of the free world. What does that really mean? In what direction? I personally am not impressed by Europe at all other than a place to visit. Their legacy of two world wars and world-wide imperialism is their true legacy. And they are impotent in the face of a Russian or Chinese hegemony in the absence of the US. What are we leading? I have a very dim view of the power of good in this world. I believe in might. Not that might makes right but that might is what it takes and I think the Left is too naive about this sometimes.

I'm not afraid because Trump is our President. I was not afraid when Obama was President but I felt that Obama was much more likely to subordinate our national interests than Trump will ever do.

    That's just my take.

I heard that he hung himself from his cell's top bunk bed and that his feet could still reach the ground. I frankly don't see how that's possible.

Yes, it is embarrassing. However, what's more embarrassing is at there wasn't a serious alternative at least if you buy into the "binary choice" narrative.

Presidents do embarrassing things. Many were embarrassed that Obama went around apologizing for America.

Precisely. Obama was FAR more likely to proceed from the notion that America has been a bad actor on the world stage, and subvert our national interests to those of the UN, etc. Trump has behaved as though he rejects the "bad actor" notion entirely.

Apparently Megyn Kelly is still doing interviews on youtube
This one is supposed to be with the whistleblower who passed along the off mic story of how ABC killed the Epstein story for political reasons, and was then fired for it

So the person who leaked the ABC story was at CBS?

Her name is now out -- The name of the former ABC News employee who was fired by CBS News this week is Ashley Bianco. In the past 24 hours she has deleted her Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Bianco was an associate producer at Good Morning America before leaving for CBS This Morning last month

But the story is a little more complicated --

It's really important to remind folks that Ashley Bianco was not fired by CBS News for leaking the footage of Amy Robach to Project Veritas. No one at either network knows who did that.

Bianco was fired because ABC News determined that she accessed the footage of Robach

She blew the whistle on cover ups at ABC News and was retaliated against. Interesting.

Also interesting is the lengths they will go to hiding the identity and hard political bias of Schiff's "whistleblower," but find an actual whistleblower inside one of their own companies and she is bounced in 48 hours

In other words, CBS is so paranoid about the Jeffrey Epstein story that they fired someone for having access to a tape at another network.

And they colluded with ABC News to out this whistleblower and retaliate by firing her. Just can't make this stuff up.

Can’t Ms. Bianco sue CBS for wrongful termination, or would that be too hard to prove? And wouldn’t a lawsuit bring out the original story and any and emails killing the Epstein story?

What makes it "wrongful?" Unless she has a contract stating otherwise, she can be fired for any reason not prohibited by law. In most states, those prohibited reasons are very few and very narrow. The at-will doctrine can be a ***** sometimes.

Even if she has a contract, she couldn't sue for wrongful termination. She'd have to sue for beach of her employment agreement. The difference is that punitive damages wouldn't be available in a contract action, but it would likely be available in a wrongful termination action.

Didn’t know what was wrongful that’s why I was asking the question, thanks for the explanation. So unless she had a contract she has no recourse.

ABC conspired to get a CBS employee fired over a clip revealing a massive, network-wide conspiracy. The woman says she is not the whistleblower, did not leak the damning video or see it
"It wasn't me. I'm not the whistleblower. I'm sorry to ABC, but the leaker is still inside."
If this is true, then it just makes this ABC-CBS conspiracy to protect Epstein and his rich buddies even worse. These are horrible people -- even with Epstein dead, its the woman who are still bearing the price

And ps -- she claims Amy Robach knew she was on a hot mic.

The actual ABC whistleblower (not the woman above) supposedly sent this out to all ABC News employees -- and is still working at ABC as of this moment

Personally, I hope this is the start of a huge shakeup in the network news business -- something long overdue.
