Baylor 34 Texas 24 "Winning is really really hard on the road."Our players will fight really really hard."
Bears 24 Bovines 27 Both teams will struggle after their demoralizing losses, but the Horns will win with a last-second field goal.
Bearz will be down a little after emotional loss, maybe only score 17 the first half but blow it open in the 2nd half to win: Bailor 54 Horns 19 Edit: Here we go again, this season is sucking like the CS era...
This could be close and Bailor will have to overcome the disappointment of blowing the game last night but I just don’t see how Texas can win this game. BU - 34 TX - 27 One caveat: If Herman/Beck get creative on the offensive side of the ball, we will have a chance. I’ll believe it when I see it, but if we start seeing jet sweeps, misdirections, pitches, screens, reverses, etc, my prediction would be that we will win the game.
And it would, rightfully so, probably piss all of us off to no end to see that in a game when they have almost literally nothing to play for.
looks like the bandwagon got a lot lighter this week! We've made weak offenses look like ... IDK ... well, WAY better than they are ... and recently our offense has made the pitiful defense look like the Iron Curtain. (I still hold that most of this is due to play calling ... dogged refusal to exploit the standard Big XII 3/3/5 defense. Score???? I have no idea but the Tower won't be lit in Orange Sat Night. Those who attend will see that little domer thing in Waco beaming green, though. 50-17 Bears (I'm a Delta guy! )
Charlie took a way more inferior team up there in 2015 to knock the Baptists out of the Sugar Bowl. Horns hang on to win the annual game that they shouldn't, 27-24.
with all the wrinkles that Baylor will put in their game plan....and our coaching staff's brilliant and daunting attempt to handle those while compiling the data from the last 8 times we were in Waco and what worked well, then..... Baylor 48 Texas 21 I sure the atmosphere will be "NEAT" and all.....
Seattle, My hope is that Baylor looks at our defensive scheme (is there one) and has so many choices to throw at us that they get confused and forget over half of them.
Since Tom has put our season in the toilet we should feel right at home at McClain Stadium. It does look like a toilet seat after all.
Well, according to Herman, winning is hard, and winning on the road is really, really hard, so I would say it is between hard and really, really hard.
Could have won this weekend on either their miss or us getting the ball with 1:45. But NOOOOO. We have to jump off sides. I am truly starting to hate football.
LOL ... this reminds me of a post game with one of the BMW guys of Tom Penders' "Running Horns" back in the day ... IIRC, it was at TCU. The Horns blew 'em away ... Reporterette: "So what are your thoughts on the game" BMW "It was hawd .... well ... it wasn't real hawd, but it was a stroggle!" never forget that. mercy.
Texas 28 Baylor 27 I have finally realized that Tom Herman hates field goals much like that shooter hated cans in Steve Martin's "The Jerk", so I need to stop incorporating field goals in my predictions for what Texas scores.
It's kinda hard to predict how much the bears will beat us by: I will guess they are pissed, and just because we are Texas/the flagship, and at their place, and they're pretty good: Beers 38 Texas 24 Oh our offense does get a little creative and we score in the first quarter. My boy Jamison creates another interception to keep it one TD less.
My thoughts on this season goes between, so terribly sad to so damned infuriating... Got to go with my heart. Texas 34 Baylor 31
