Losing by three in the second half. Team looks exactly the same as the second half of Georgetown. This team has no idea how to defend the pick-and-roll.

Don’t see this team finishing any higher than 6-7 in the conference, unless they go in a sustained hot streak from 3 which there has been no indication they can do. Tied at 71 with Horns at line

Lucky to hold on. With the poor defensive rebounding by this team finishing 6th in conference might be wishful thinking.

^^^right. And no idea how to use the pick and roll effectively at the offensive end.
Horns play like it's illegal to score in the paint.

Looking for a bright spot, Coleman had 10 A's with zero TO's. Cannot believe their shooting percentage is so low with that kinda of assists.

This is a great example of Shaka's entire offensive problems in one sentence. If he actually ran a motion offense that utilizes the talent on this team to create open players we would have many more assists and a much higher shooting percentage. Instead its stand around and jack up threes. If there are no open shots behind the line its then street ball which will usually result in an assist and easier basket.

I can't believe Shaka can't figure this out. With the talent on the team I could send a couple you tube videos to explain it to him if he needs it. This really isn't super complicated, but like Herman he just insists on doing what he thinks is right resulting in a terrible product on the court year after year after year.

Even the homer LHN announcers were dismayed by our team "falling in love with threes" as they repeated this phrase throughout the game.

Smart alluded to this in the offseason. Trying to pimp us out as the "three point shooting" team. I'm tired of it. We could just as well have the same final score against a ranked team like Tech, but that doesn't mean the team is "good." It just means they hit enough threes to win. Forget movement and passing and all that ****.

It reminds me of like 2009-ish after Durant and we were stuck in a pattern of AJ Abrams shooting habits. If he shot well, we won. If he didn't, we lost. It's like that, but with 5 different AJ Abramses. Anyone could coach that, and we're not supposed to be "anyone."
