The religion thing is overplayed, Bill (at least in regards to schools).
I'd say especially the "Baptist " angle. i don't think many people these days say "I'm Baptist"...other than to reference which church they go to.
That church/denomination/community has changed quite a bit over the last 10 years or so in my observation (They've been influenced by non-denominational and Charismatic trends, as well as secular forces. Let's be honest, most religious-affiliated schools these days are only loosely related to the God/faith/values they were once founded on...unfortunately. And I mean no disrespect to the individuals within those entities to which this indictment doesn't apply. When talking about an individual, these things still matter greatly, and there are many high-profile and successful coaches who are devout in their faith, wear it right up front, and would cite it first as their greatest influence on how they run their program. Not sure about Rhule personally, but it wouldn't surprise me.
