I actually seen some research on the RBs in the NFL. They have the shortest life span in the NFL at 3 years on average. But there are the exceptions.

I once thought Earl Campbell a failure because he only played in the NFL for about 8 years while lesser backs like Franco Harris played over 10 years in the league.

Looking at the quality of life he now leads, I wish he didn't play as many as he did play.

To clarify, I am not saying they only play 3 years, I am saying while most might have a 5 -7 year career of being on a NFL roster, most are usually at a peak for only 3 years including accelerating up and then gliding down as injuries and aging take their tolls. Yes there are exceptions. Ricky, Earl, Adrian, and Jamal.

But look at others and you will see a skewed bell curve where the slope tapering is defined only by its length and slope.

LT and Hudson Card vs. Converse Judson:

Card's foot looks healed judging by his runs.

Judson is a really good team with some really good players including their QB. If I had posted his highlights instead, most viewers would be certain Judson won the game.

At 66, is it socially acceptable to have a man crush on a recruit?

This guy will be exciting to watch. I hope he’s reaching out to Keele Ringo behind the scenes. We need them both badly.

Thing I love about JQJ and Card is that both have the ability to play other positions should they lose out on being a QB.

Card has the advantage going into their freshmen year, but JQJ has the higher ceiling.

Which is an advantage only if he receives proper player development help form the staff. That seems to be an issue right now at Texas.

This is practice and it is a kickoff
Nonetheless, it was also effectively a 70-yard field goal
    Just sayin

Sounds like we are also keeping WR Quentin Johnston (Temple) with him taking his final OV to Austin this weekend.

Sam got much better coaching from Todd.

Which player other than Sam and Ro was significantly better at the end of the season than he was at the first of yhe season. No defensive player and no OL.

Sam wasn't either, but cut him some slack due to the rib injury in the oSu game.

A disruptive and destructive DL. Sheds blockers well. Doesn't stay blocked. Good bull rush. Quick for his size. Sniffs out the ball carrier well. Good instincts.

OSU, TCU, and WV take guys like this and turn them into studs who practically camp out in our backfield when they play us.

Sam's 1st half was even better than the previous year. After the OL cratered, he was about on par as the previous year except for more interceptions. He finished this year (less the bowl game) ahead of last year. Quite and accomplishment, I would say. Thompson also is looking a lot better in the few passing exhibitions hw has presented himself. I hope he receives more playing time next year.

My thoughts exactly. One year with McKnight and he will have enough strength and mas to play.

Not at QB position. Sam was a train wreck his freshman year.

Not the most talented guy, but has moxie and can hurt you if you play him loosely.

Duhhhh! Here is a surprise for you. There was no time for development his freshman year. He only played because Buechele was hurt. In fact, Ehllinger never played a complete year without missing some games due to injury his three years of high school.

Yeah, tell that to Ingram who not only increased his weight with 10%more muscle, but was faster also.
