Wow...tremendous answer by Wisconsin after OSU's TD with :42 left in the half to cut the lead to 7. Wisconsin says "hold my beer" and score with ~:14 seconds left to take a 14pt lead to half.

In a game of momentum WIS just told OSU to eff off.

Well shucks. A breakdown by Wisconsin’s D makes for a long strike downfield by Fields. And now a great catch by the TE for a TD. Like the use of the TE.

A bobbled, bungled punt attempt for Wisky. Things are going south in a hurry.

Well, if it’s not Chase Young, it’s some other DL getting a sack for the Bucks.

Folks, this is what a good DL can do for you.

Argh! And now an unforced dropped snap by the punter! Badgers are working to give this game away.

It looked more like a “baubled” punt snap to me. :smile1:

And OSU replied: "No thanks, think I'll stick around for just a little while longer." ;)

At least Wisky kept it interesting for the first half.

I really see Ohio State as the goal for TH’s offense. If we had 2 more years of top 5 recruiting? I hope he gets some good coaches to help bring it home. OSU just wares out defenses, which is Herman’s goal.

osu will not beat LSU. the LSU offense will double what Wisconsin laid on the buckeyes. Clemson will outscore osu in a shoot out. ou will lose to whoever they play in the playoff.

LSU is just better than anyone else. Joe Burrow and the playmakers around him are way above any college defense in the country.

Assuming LSU regains the top spot they will play ou (or UGa f the Committee wants to reward UGa for falling short two years in a row). The result will not change from the $EC CCG whoever they play. However, an ou/LSU game will look more like the Texas/LSU game than the $EC CCG.

The other CFP will be to see if aOSU can slowdown the Clemson offense. After the B1G CCG I would give Clemson as better chance now than before the CCG. Whiskey provided the blueprint. aOSU will score, but Clemson will score on them. It should be the best game of the playoff.

I think they were trying to run the clock, but Taylor busted a big run and got past midfield on the first play.

    Good one.

We need a Captain Morgan’s bowl. That would be perfect for a Leach team.

LSU's Joe Burrow has thrown for more yards this season than any other QB in SEC history.

His record wouldn't make the top 10 in Big 12 history.

If LSU ends up facing aOSU for the championship, LSU's ability (or inability) to block that ridiculously good Buckeye D front will likely be the determining factor in the game.

aOSU has faced nobody on Burrow's level. If Burrow has time, he can shred them, as talented as they may be. Of course, aOSU has faced nobody on Trevor Lawrence's level either. If Lawrence has time, she can shred them as well. I like the Bucks' chances in a shootout with Clemson, more than the Bucks' chances in a shootout with LSU.

I bet none of those top 10 teams in Big 12 history didnt have a 1290 yd rusher who was All Conference and scored 16 TD's as in Clyde Edwards-Helaire as LSU does either.

Today's big game: Army v. Navy. 2 p.m. in Philadelphia.

This grand and ancient tradition is one of the greatest spectacles in the sport. Navy brings a nationally-ranked team to the field under coach Ken Niumatalolo. Navy beat SMU and Houston and can put some points on the board with run-first QB Malcolm Perry. They are good, and are a legitimate Top 25 team. The Midshipmen average 465 yards per game and only give up an average of 343 yards per game.

5-7 Army has a 3 game winning streak against Navy, but has struggled against good competition (other than almost beating Michigan). The Black Knights average 398 yards per game and give up 338 yards per game. While they don't pass much, Army QB Kelvin Hopkins has more INTs than TDs...

On paper, it's all Navy today. But throw out the records and stats in this one. It's the Army vs. Navy game. Navy leads the all-time series 60-52-7.

    Go Navy! Beat Army!

Just out of curiousity, I looked at the single season passing records for the Big 12. The list of the top 25 all time doesn't have a Texas QB.

Sort of like an Arkansas fan bragging about how many SEC football players are in the NFL, eh?:hookem:

    Norfolk,

That's not fair. Since the inception of the Big XII, we've never had an OC. We came close, but the HC neutered him midseason.
