Par for Herman's coarse.... Injuries out the *** and horrible diagnosis for Horn recruits the last 2 years, plus all the injuries for current players....... Cursed....just cursed. A darn shame.

    I really wonder sometimes.....

    SMH
A great prospect for us who would provide great leadership along with BR.
    Wish him the best.
Come on down as soon as you can and we'll take good care of ya! Unfortunately, we are getting good at it.....

Already noted by Joe Fan in the 2020 recruiting thread.

While unfortunate, he would redshirt his freshman year any way. Lot of time for recovery and study and working on his passing. Minimal impact to his time at Texas.

Herman needs to have Priest Holmes come visit the young man. Priest had 2-3 knee surgeries, which kept him from being drafted, yet led the NFL in rushing how many years?

Look at another Jackson right now....different set of circumstances, but Lamar Jackson saw it through and now ...glory days.

Lamar Jackson went to a ******** city college, where they throw a degree into your car if you drive through campus with the windows down.

Priest went to a real school, suffered the injuries, worked hard for his degree and his recovery.

Comparing the two is apples and anvils.

Sabre...I realize what you are saying...Lamars injury wasnt even in high school or college.
He is just a similar-styled QB to JJ and his inspiring story overcoming his injury and waiting 5 years to play...now playing as one of the best...is timely news.
It wasnt my intent to compare him to Priest.

Vol Horn 4 Life Good Bye To All The Rest!

And Drew Brees was overlooked at Texas too because he was smallish and kept blowing out his knees. Seems like he turned out alright.

Why ? Its either a Herman curse or UT curse... its one thing to have a few injuries in a given year, but to have injuries to not only the team members but the recruits as well, along with the medical issues ( heart/blood pressure conditions, blood clot, spinal issues ) we have had the last few years.... What other schools have had THIS MANY problems ? It seems like a freaking curse.

    Really like JQJ.
I hope he recovers well and comes to Austin ready to prove something. He appears to be the kind of guy we have been lacking on the offensive side of the ball. Need a few more cut from this mold.
