Should have been a rush lb all year. Even with lack of quality lb’s, he should have been disrupting opposing backfields and pressuring the qb. He could be our trae young going forward.
Hey man...10-0 & I’ll take it. Agree @WorsterMan , I told Ms. Sapo that 2nd half adjustments (or lack of) are going to be very important
Also did anybody notice the Utah airplane flying around San Antonio? I did but they don’t have Carne Guisada or Barbacoa. We got this. Advantage Texas
Coach PE said kick it but TH aint been listening to me all year. TH evidently doesnt have our pitiful 4th down conversion stats in the folder.
About Herman outsmarting himself I totally agree Wadster. The defense is rarely completely lined up when the ball is snapped. Herman is so fixed on making late adjustments that when the play starts players are either looking to the sidelines for signals or sprinting to where they need to be. When a play starts and you don't have a good perspective of what's coming at you there is no way you can make a good decision.
Very impressed with the D although not shocked. On offense, same old same old, and that’s not good. That needs to change next year, but I have my doubts. Yurcich may just be an extension of TH and his philosophy. Hope not. Also not thrilled with Ingram. The dude is just not special. Finally, in a tight defensive battle, TAKE THE POINTS. TH may never learn.
I agree with going for it. I’m in the minority here I guess. Dominating a half and only being up 13-0 as opposed to 10-0 doesn’t seem like a big difference. But up 17 does. Feels like the Ohio st semi at that point. Just my humble opinion
When the game's over I'm going to drive to the edge of town and watch the free (amateur) fireworks displays
