Pre-season 2020 - We're number 12?

The 247 "way too early" poll has us a #12. BlowU and LSU are ranked higher, so I'm assuming this indicates we'll finish 10-2. I think we'll beat one of those two next year, and probably lose a game we shouldn't. I'm predicting a 10-2 season. Is that overly optimistic? What is the record below which TH should be re-evaluated?

    4th_floor Dude, where's my laptop?

It all depends on if we learn to play defense. If the answer is yes, 10 - 2 or 11-1 is very possible. If no, then we will finish about the same as this year.

We’ll be better than 2019. Think 10 wins possible. All of that 2018 class that didn’t redshirt will be juniors (finally)!

12-15 would have been my guess

Why Okie St of all teams? Let's beat the purple teams and I'll be happier. We lost to TCU with a freshman QB. Good grief that was a bad loss.

Brett McMurphy has aggy #6 in his "too early" 2020 preseason poll
So I looked at their schedule and it does look like they have put together as soft a run as possible
First, they avoid both Florida and Georgia. Again
Their OOC schedule is soft, as usual, and all 4 are at home -- ACU, UNT, Fresno St & Colorado
Conf home games -- Ole Miss, Vanderbilt & LSU. Plus they play Piglet in Dallas.
Conf road games - Miss St, Auburn, South Carolina, Alabama
They have averaged over 4-losses per season since entering the SEC. This schedule looks like it may let them beat that average. But #6 still seems quite a stretch

Can’t believe Chase is a true sophomore.

Maybe he’ll sit out next year and prep for draft. Just maybe

Aggy could get to 10-2 if they win all the games they should and get one upset over Auburn, LSU, Bama. Bama and LSU are both replacing their QBs. So yea, I could see it. I could also see 8-4 if the drop one they shouldn't. Pirate game will be interesting.

The ags return a lot of starters, but their QB is still lacking. With a relatively weak schedule, I could see them going anywhere from 6-6 to 9-3. Of course, MSU and Ole Miss are no longer pushover games.

They play Abilene Christian?!?!? C'mon ags...

But it's so much more fun to play them 3 at a time. A football Ménage à trois, so to speak.

OSU returns a seasoned QB vs the wide-eyed Freshman he was last year.
They return their stud WR..name escapes me right now. Wallace ?
    They also return Chuba Hubbard.
    Its in Stillwater.
They will know exactly what we do on offense.

Bama will be just fine with the QB they ended the year with. LSU on the other hand will break in a new QB maybe without their guru passing game guy. The Pirate will not have the weapons he needs for a couple years unless the portal helps him out.

I never get tired of this graphic. And the best part is that aggy manages to follow the script.
