No, LSU. Been saying it for weeks.

Actually he's already a pretty good passer.

OU thinks they've got the next big deal in 5-star Spenser Rattler. I doubt they'd risk him entering the portal by signing King.

King only has one year left. Why would Rattler transfer and sit for a year when King would be gone anyway?

I agree with IDE, above, on the decision Rattler would have to make, but do believe OU taking on another transfer QB would hurt their future recruiting.
Think it's a moot point, anyway as I don't believe that's where he is headed.

Because Rattler already sat for a year and watched Jalen Hurts. Now he sits for another year for King with no guarantee there won't be a third transfer the next year?

He was the no 13 prospect in the nation out of high school. No 1 dual threat QB. Studs like that aren't patient. Look at Justin Fields at Georgia.

Fields was looking at sitting for 3 years. Unless he's granted an exemption Rattler wouldn't be eligible to play in 2020. What's the difference in not playing at OU or anywhere else?

I guess we'll agree to disagree. As Fields proved, there are ways around the rules.

Because OU, Lincoln Riley specifically, has shown a predisposition towards bringing in transfer QBs from elite schools for their Senior year. What's this, 3 years in a row Riley has brought in a transfer to start? If he did it again Rattler would be a fool not to transfer as it shows that Riley really likes seasoned Senior-level QBs thus he'd better be prepared to wait a few more years for any shot to play.

I think Riley will start Rattler this year.....there's really not any no-brainer QBs out there like he's had the last 3....WITH ALL DUE RESPECT to the Houston guy

Neither Mayfield or Murray transferred in as a senior. In fact both were three years.

He would prefer Rattler for possibly three years to King for one. Unless he does want to go to NFL sooner.

Did you just refer to Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Alabama as "elite"?

Then Brady left along with half the offense and a third of the defense.

Well, the ACC Network isn’t available. Sometimes The Kube in Houston broadcasts an ACC game. So, congratulations Mr King, welcome to the Convict Gables Cesspool. You joined the Titanic after it had hit the iceberg.

ACC Network is not generally available W of Georgia.

Convict Gables = Coral Gables, where UM is located.

UM tanked worse than we or Washington did, by a long shot.

Glad it’s not OU, just for optics alone. Wake Forest QB chose elsewhere too. #Good

I hear Maryland as one of the schools he is visiting/talking to.
That is the best fit I've heard so far.

    According to the Chronicle:

Former University of Houston quarterback D’Eriq King announced Monday he will transfer to Miami.

“Story is still being written,” King posted on Twitter with a photo of himself in a Hurricanes jersey. “Let’s go.”

King visited Miami over the weekend and, according to reports, had to enroll in classes by Tuesday to be eligible to participate in spring practice.
