2011 will look like a reboot of the old SWC:
Aside from not including UH (the latest add to the SWC), this schedule of course would not include, cough, cough, a certain school, ahem....

Oh, and of course Baylor's mentor on how to run a clean program, SMU.

    You are what you post.

You missed "that" between "decide" and "you." J/K :smile1:

    No. Not incorrect or inaccurate.
After a verb of attribution (said, stated, announced, disclosed), the word “that” often can be omitted with no loss of meaning.:bounce1:

    Agree.
This is mild banter compared to Never Charlie / Always Charlie days.

Still can't believe we rescheduled our road game at Arkansas for a decade later after they cancelled it on us. :idk:

    Me too.

In 2008 the hawgs got slaughtered 52-10 at DKR by Colt & Co. then canceled the road game in FayetteNam the following year. I thought we should NOT schedule them again until hell froze over.

Move the game to the first Saturday in December; both teams undefeated with the winner going to the playoff; miserable day of mist and rain; the President shows up ...

    We play USF next September
But as bad as they look right now, Charlie Strong might not be there.

Ouch! 42-0 Wisconsin. The fightin' Charlie's have 105 yds total offense in the 4th. He took over a one loss team with a Heisman candidate QB and run the entire program into the dirt.

We have added 3 future home games
    -- Louisiana-Monroe (2022)
    -- Wyoming (2023)
-- Texas State (2026) - sort of interesting that we have never played them

La.-Monroe -- use the blow off game for recruiting purposes in Louisiana

Wyoming -- We should get there as early as possible so our players can acclimate to the altitude.

Texas State -- there might be a bit of alcohol consumed at the tailgate party for that game.

So Texas is rolling into San Marcos? The Aglets will be distressed.

These three can only mean one thing - the SEC is dropping down to schedule Hardin Simmons, Ouaciita Baptist, Louisiana College, Colorado State Pueblo, et al

2023, we added Wyoming but already had Alabama as OOC
2026, we added Texas State but already had tOSU as OOC

Well, I think we all see what Del Conte is doing scheduling those games in conjunction with some very formidable OCC's...

Wyoming is a decent OCC, LA-Monroe is OK, but Texas State is a little too cream puff for me.... hell, I frequently make fun of aggy for scheduling teams like Texas State, Lamar, SFA, UTSA, etc.

I think it's great that Texas is scheduling Texas state and UTSA. Both schools need the boost with their athletic programs. I would rather see Texas scheduling smaller Texas schools than directional Louisiana schools and such. Texas should support Texas schools more.

I hope this is a trend that will continue.

Texas State is a great campus and I’m sure a fun game to attend. Score might be ugly, hope TH is still coach then.

Coming to Austin gives these teams a large payday, which may be larger than they get playing 3-4 home games.

It is frequently a political advantage when CDC gets to host their financially and politically influential alumni. Unfortunately, we also have to host their educrat leadership, particularly in the case of UTSA, whom i would seat in the South endzone bleachers.

SEZ will be high dollar seats starting in 2021. If they follow recent trends the "official" TSU seats will be up in the NE Corner of the NEZ.
