On that claim, they were including donations for stadium building costs. That is how they got their bump. But it's temporary and not sustainable or permanent. Or even relevant to this coaching discussion. I think someone on the old Enron team came up with these accounting tricks.
aTm defeats hated in state rival TSU again! 997 to 945 Sugar Babies enrolled! Species of aTm Sugar Babies not determined but noted sheep dip and hay bales much cheaper than iPhones and lingerie. UT beats all instate universities but loses to Perennial P***y Powerhouses like Indiana and Wisconsin. https://www.seeking.com/p/sugar-baby-university-2020/usa/
There is a person I know, I won't use his name, but he is a very successful business man, happily married, beautiful family. But he travels a lot to all the major cities, NY, LA, Miami, Vegas, ATL etc, in each of these cities he rents an apartment. He allows some young coed to stay in his apartment while he isn't there. He gives them an allowance to pay for food and stuff. He visits these apartments on business trips and this saves him on all that silly stuff like hotels and restaurants. I think in total he has 5 apartments going on. I nominate my boy for the hall of fame of Sugar daddies.
A new aggy hit on SEC Rant. Aggy starts post on LSU visiting the White House. First response: Did y’all go to DC and visit FDR?
Funny tweet thread where an Aggie challenged Umlang at the start of season to compare season stats of the 2 sophomore RBs. Poor Aggie.
Some marriages are different than others, if you know what I mean. Evidently it's a quiet mutual arrangement.
Honestly I think Aggy has a decent year next year. 9-3 is what I'd think with losses to Bama, Auburn, and LSU. Rest of their schedule is pretty weak. LSU lost a lot of dudes too so that game is impossible to predict until we see what they put on the field. MSU is the wild card. No way to know what Leach can do year 1.
Wadster, if you put a question mark on the MSU game because of Leach, you also have to put one in IN because of Kiffin.
Well, they did almost lose to Ole Miss last year so you never know. But They'll be favored in all but those 3 games. They have a solid D, crap OLine, bad depth at RB, and average QB. But solid D will keep you in most games. And Mond is like a streak shooter. If he's on he gives them a chance for upset. When he's off he gives them a chance to lose to worse than them. Hard to predict, but I can see 9-3, 8-4 worst case. Next years setup for them. They are recruiting good classes. As much as I hate it I think Jimbo makes them better long term. Not good enough to compete at the top of the SEC, but at the next level down. I guess time will tell. Reality is middle of the SEC just isn't that great. Once you get past the top 5 teams, the next 9 are meh. And they play no good OOC games so they get 4 layups there. Not that hard to go 9-3 with Arky, as a 5th layup. Only have to go 4-3 on the rest. Sure would like to see 8-4. Aggies think they are top 10.
Time for another thread bump. In case you needed a reminder as to why so many of us are so elated that Aggy isn't our problem anymore. I had cut this out of the newspaper (Houston Chronicle or Dallas Morning News?) many years ago and stuffed it in a folder. I think this was taken before a bowl game, but I couldn't tell you which one or when. I recently rediscovered it while doing some office cleaning. It probably needs a caption. From the outside, I can't understand it. And I'm perfectly fine with that.
That photo was taken out front of the Hall of State at Fair Park in Dallas, so it must have been a pre-Jerry World Cotton Bowl game. - Mike
No matter how well they do each season, they will manage to screw the pooch in the end. With Ole Miss and Miss St.'s new HCs aggy will be looking at a constant 4 losses about every year. I believe there is a good probability that aggy will want to send Jumbo Fizzler packing in another 3-4 seasons but will have to keep him on because of the guaranteed buyout. And aggys rant about how they have the most money is ********. Their football team is worth only $540mil while UT's is worth $1.1Billion. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee are ahead of aggy. In 2018 football revenue, aggy is #13 with $522million. Texas was #2 in 2018 with $1.2 billion. The same teams in the SEC that are worth more than aggy all had greater revenue. Another aggy propaganda tool to exploit kids to go there is debunked. Like the old adage goes, "if a person talks about how much money they have, they really ain't got nuthin."
