Thank you. Yes, according to Gil Brandt and Tex Schram, sitting in Brandt's office on Central Expressway while he was handing over game tickets to take my kids to see the Cowboys vs Steelers. It was part of a longer story explaining how and why the Cowboys chose a TE. FWIW, that was the same meeting at which Mr Brandt gifted me one of his very limited edition Parker pens.

I never insinuated or in anyway inferred Epps was "an *******". I don't know the kid. I do know that the last TE we had worth a damn could be really nasty when he needed to be, which for me is further proof of Brandt & Schram's findings.

How was anyone supposed to glean that from your posts? Congrats to MC Hammer for deciphering that code. What did he win?

i asked if the kid was an *******? How the f**k can that be construed any way but as a simple question, unless the poster replying is looking to start some ****, and we have some on here who do nothing else. I normally choose to ignore those.

I knew Sabre Horn had a background story. Man doesn’t call people names. He just has a lot of stories! Sit back and wait, he’ll splain it!

I recall saying patience Horn Fans! About a week ago.

Yes, I saw the original response as an example of cognitive dissonance. Made me laugh. It was like one poster said,"good morning" and the other one responded "you are an idiot for living in Midland."
Had no idea one "lol" would turn into what it turned into

And readers should probably also know by now there is often a good story behind Sabre's posts

But the story must be articulated or the whole meaning is lost in obfuscation or brevity.

In my experience, he loves doing that. He has great institutional memory. Also has a lot of small town Texas memories.

Good answer! And pretty much true. I took it another way, but your statement makes more sense. On the field, guys playing on the line have to have an "*******" mentality to drive the opponent into the dirt.

Maybe so, but it does not help help others understand one word posts.

Of course if one really has a point, one word is never sufficient. Even 140 characters fails grandly for anyone with an attention span exceeding 15 seconds.

So far the biggest playmaker on defense with some great ones like Foster. And likely the best athlete, his SPARQ was through the roof. I’d be disappointed if he’s not starting in the defensive backfield. Reminds me a lot of ESPN3.

IT calls the 2020 OL as follows --

    Cosmi - Angilau - Kerstetter - Okafor - C. Jones

Does Kerstetter go to RT if Majors earns a starting role this fall? Who is C #2?

Rafiti Ghirmai is probably the guy who would let Kerstetter go to RT

Maybe RT too, along with Moore and Hookfin
Angilau should be alright, he probably was not quite ready last season.
Kerstetter is a solid RT option. I liked him at C better than Shackelford.
Okafor is a 5th year -- I always thought he would be an OT with those Stretch Armstrong like long arms - but Strong did him no favor making him play so early
Plus we might get another GT
Replacing 2 guys won’t be simple, but we have options (we recruited pretty well in 2018-19). And, in our bowl, we did pound out out 231 rush yards against the nation's #1 rush defense, which had held 10 opponents under 70 yards. And this will be the 3rd year together with Hand

So Hand was not the problem last year, it was scheme? Baylor, TCU and OU games still bother me, though.

I definitely lean scheme and playcalling -- for whatever reason, Herman loved calling slow-developing run plays into the the strength of the opponents D
