From what I've seen from you I'm pretty certain you're somewhere in the APA manual as well.

A lot of the most successful people in the history of the world have had some various form of mental disorder. They learn to us it, whatever it is, to their advantage. Look at Zuckerberg - is he normal? What about Musk? What about Edison or Ford? They didnt even have the words for those guys back in their era. It's often a fine balance. Someone in my own family is OCD but she is also very smart and channels it into her work. As a result, she gets more done than anyone else down there (she the professor).

That “Narcissistic Personality Disorder” is doing one hell of a job as President.

I see that you get offended from Trump Tweets. I know a doctor that will write you a prescription for a pair of testicles.

I don’t get offended by the bragging of a mentally ill rich kid. I’m enjoying the whole show, especially all the rubes who are entranced by this carnival geek

Maher is liberal and detests religious people. What makes him more tolerable than most on the Left is that he generally doesn't let intersectionality and rabid political correctness muddle his perspective. For example, he may ridicule a Christian who doesn't want to be compelled to decorate a cake for a gay wedding, but he does understand that people who want to sever heads and execute homosexuals and anybody who rejects their faith are worse and more dangerous. Most on the Left are too conflicted by intersectionality to understand this obvious truth.

Maher also believes in free speech - something the political Left is starting to reject.

I should have waited for Barry to translate, that would have been spot on

The thing about the CPL adventure was the spectacle of it all. Everyone in the media who gave him free air time and lavished praise on him did so with the belief and hope that he was going to be the guy to take Trump down. What a charade.

No, his arrogance and obvious lack of scruples made that happen. He should have been more subtle, "yeah, but I need you to do me a favor". That's a nice shooting war you've got going with Russia there. It'd be a shame if something happened to it.

Getting back to the title of this post, did Bone Spur truly love Stormy or was it just one of those assisted masturbations? Did he clear it with Melanie in advance? How did his kids feel about it?

You realize this sordid episode was only one time and was 10 years before the election. Trump never claimed to be a good person on the campaign trail. He claimed he was going to attack the swamp, make new trade deals, and to win on the economy (among other things). The trump doubters (I put you in this category vs hater) and trump haters will never defeat trump if they don’t even understand why he was elected. Sad!

I don't doubt that there are very few people that approve of Trump's personal transgressions. He just happens to be the very strange vessel that is actually getting the Policies/Judges/Justices/Trade Deals/Walls in place that are improving the majority of American's lives and reversing/preventing the race to the bottom championed by Dems. Would I deal with him in a business transaction? Yes, but only if I received the money up front.

In hindsight, it is easy to see who was correct about Avenatti and who was wrong about him. While CNN/MSNBC were kissing his nether regions, Carlson saw through him from the start. There is a lesson here for those smart enough to learn from it

By contrast, watch/listen to the women of the View fawn over him - you will at least want to hear his answer to this first question

Have any liberals come out and said how wrong they were about this guy?

(I know the answer. It was hard to type that with a straight face.)

One of the CNN guys claims to have been "snookered' but he offered no explanation why only left wing news sites were snookered.

Right wing sites are unsnookerable when it's someone trying to bring down their guy

It would be the same if the situation were reversed

Don't know enough about Musk, but I'd categorize the others not as ill, but as ********.

Why would they both approving when ignoring is so much simpler?

I think the more accurate description is that they rationalize it. They don't approve of the fact that he was a sawed-off Wilt Chamberlain for a long time and probably would agree that he sometimes says stupid things. However, they weigh that against the upsides of his presidency and the alternative (which is doing everything it can to make Trump look measured, mature, sensible, and intelligent - which is pretty hard to do) and going with Trump despite the faults.

It's somewhat similar to the Democrats' rationalization of Bill Clinton. Most Democrats didn't approve of him getting blown by a subordinate in the Oval Office and lying about it under oath. However, they weren't willing to hand a political victory to the Republicans to enforce their disapproval.

Honestly, I think they shot themselves in the foot though. Removing Clinton from office would have made Gore an incumbent in 2000 and made it a lot easier for Gore to separate himself from Clinton's sleazy side. Keep in mind that Gore wasn't a weirdo back then, or if he was, it wasn't commonly known. He hadn't dumped his wife and turned himself into a poster boy for the Extinction Rebellion and the Sunrise Movement yet. Would that have been enough to hand Florida to Gore? Very likely, yes.

In short hand, Trump saw Bill get away with BJ’s in the Oval Office and said to himself, “ what do I have to lose by running for president”. Bill getting blown by Monica and getting away with it directly led to Trump.

My Republican dad was a Gore fan. He passed in 94.

I could see the right totally turning on trump if he wins a second election and trying to get Pence in there. If Trump is smart he will insulate himself from that by doing something with Pence that will put them both in the same barrel.
