Doesn't bother me at all, unless he means off the field douchery
Otherwise, how is being compared to a recent Heisman winner bad?

But Texas has beaten them all in the last two years whereas before they were beating Texas like a drum.

How soon one forgets how bad it was 3 to 6 years ago.

Better than losing to them, but, Texas is still not dominating Baylor (in football, basketball or baseball) and, especially TCU. Even when Texas was dominating these schools it was a fight. ISU is a newcomer to the Texas non-domination club.

To get anywhere Texas needs to put their boot back on these schools.

LSU is convinced he is theirs and he does have longstanding relationships with several coaches including Linehan.

247's updated 2021 list is coming out.
So far, looks like James Brockermeyer and Shemar Turner are both now 4-stars

Seems like this could lead to all sorts of odd behavior, especially in the SEC

Here is what 247 said about Bowman

Billy Bowman Jr., ATH, Denton (Texas) Ryan: We will repeat ourselves here with Bowman, a teammate of Sanders who also provided outstanding two-way production considering how many snaps he had to play going both ways, not to mention his usual impact on special teams. Bowman moved up more than 100 spots in the Top247 from No. 146 to No. 37 on the updated rankings. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Bowman is a high-major prospect at receiver or in the secondary, but we think his higher ceiling is likely on defense, where Bowman could possibly move around the secondary in multiple roles.

Bowman caught 54 passes for 824 yards and 17 TD's in 2019, when he added 55 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sacks, two forced fumbles, and three interceptions, which he returned for touchdowns (he also returned a punt for a score). Bowman's overall athletic profile is aided further by his participation in basketball and track and field, where he ran several sub-11.00 100-meter times as a sophomore, long jumped almost 23 feet, and ran on Ryan's state-qualifying 4x100 relay squad. Like Sanders, Bowman is one of the best pure football players and athletes in the Lone Star State in this class.

Notice further down that LJ Johnson is #1 RB over Camar Wheaton as preferred by Mike Roach. Interesting.

Milroe has that "It" factor in spades, as in a Royal Flush. Pass was 48 yds. in the air to me.

Dematrious Davis looks even more like the real thing last year than the year before and he was spectacular that year

Milroe has such a quick release, very very impressive. Also he has a strong arm, the combination can be killer if he can be accurate and read defenses.

Of course I just described John Elway.

But Elway couldn't run very well.

But he was a great pitcher on the Stanford baseball team.

I remember Elway as an outstanding running QB. He ran for 3400 yards and 33 touchdowns in his career. In a sign of how the game has changed, was surprised to see he threw for 4000 yards only once in his entire career and in his first 10 years only threw 20 TDs once. His 10th year he had 10 TD and 17 picks. Crazy.

John Elway didn’t pitch for Stanford. He was an outfielder.

You , Sir, are correct. Slick was a pitcher, but I think I remember another team, had a QB as a Pitcher. I will have to attempt to reconnect my brain cells.

Here is an interesting article proving the John Elway could indeed run and mentioning some other NFL that were drafted by MLB.

When John Elway was drafted ahead of Tony Gwynn

And actually Elway did pitch, if only a little. I am glad not all of my brain cells are yet dead, just disorganized. Mike Aldrete and some guy named Steve Buechele were on that 1981 Stanford baseball team also.

There was once a QB who pitched his team to a National Championship by the name of Bobby Layne.
